Good catch! Wonder why they are testing even though apparently the refurb was dropped. The are planned to go on the PDL (Portsmouth Direct Line) Which is Waterloo > Portsmouth Via Guildford so I do hope these come down to the Portsmouth route!
@@bb-3653 Back in March, some SWR workers told me that they dropped the refurb, but they were still testing after they said that so they must of continued as 458422 and 458421 are in service now!
@@PurplesTrainsUK i see, its weird because maybe it was rumoured that way. But the way it was mentioned, is that it was dropped in terms of them entering service because the demand wasnt there. But i think they still went ahead with the refirbishment for the futute. Which turns out to be now 😂
