BFI Property Project manager Lucia Salvemini talks us through the recent renovation work in the BFI Southbank's NFT3 cinema.

This is all very nice but doesn’t appear to change the main problem in NFT3, which is the poor sight lines when other customers sit directly in front? This could have been remedied by altering the raking …

It was looked at but the constraints of having Waterloo Bridge as the roof of the cinema really limits what could be done.

I have already been there several times. The front row seat A7 has a problem, whenever a person sitting in A6 moves even slightly it shakes A7! It’s ridiculously annoying and not right. Is it because of this removable flexibility? Fix it now.
