Rega Ela Mk1.25 - sound clip 

Yeah, I will definitely keep these Mk1.25's. I think I mentioned once already that I owned the Rega Ela Mk2 XELs at one point, and regret selling them. The Rega driver is more transparent than the Royd driver, in my observation. I won't sell these Mk1.25s because of how much I paid to get them back into working order (spent too much - I could never get my money back). But besides that financial aspect, I also really appreciate them for what they are, so they're staying. I almost made the mistake of selling me Epos ES14 Mk1 a few months ago... That would have been a bad move. I have heard and read good things about the Evo 4.3, but I haven't listened to a pair in person. As as subs go, I'd love to have an REL - one of the smaller ones... I think there's one called the T5i which I'm sure would do fine for me (not 100% sure that's the model at this moment, but I think so). I'd like to have dual subs, too, but my place is already too cramped, unfortunately (small Toronto residence). I might still one day do so for a more uniform balance/ more linear performance in the room. And yes - I primarily use a Schiit Modi Multibit on my main system now - either that or the SMSL Sanskrit. The two have similar sonic characteristics, but the MM is more palpable and 3d. The Nuforce uDACs 1 and 3 have moved over to my secondary system/ computer system. And now, once again, I'm looking to find some 'new' used speakers to try for fun... It never ends for me! hahaha Are you the same way??
