Fun fact for y'all who don't know, but Regal's latest logo (the orange one with an R in the middle) has two main design features about it. The obvious one is that it's meant to be the Regal Crown as seen from above. But it is also meant to represent, and is designed to also look like, the aperture on a camera lens!
Ah yeah, the rollercoaster ride sequence before the movie starts was my childhood with Regal theaters. Too bad the last Regal theater near me got demolished in late January 2021. Now the nearest one from me is more than 25 miles away.
That's nothing - my Regal got shut down in 2015 in Lancaster Ohio, and 2018 in Columbus Ohio, and now the closest one to me is almost 2 hours away from me in Beavercreek Ohio.
Wait, Regal doesn't use the "Silence Your Cell Phones" policy trailer anymore? I think Cinemark still does, I didn't see it before Detective Pikachu, but I heard someone saw it before the Aladdin remake that same year.
I remember these policy trailers. Regal has been using the famous “Roller Coaster” policy trailers for year, but they’re still doing it to this day as part of Regal Entertainment Group along with UA and Edwards Theaters. The last one wasn’t that good, because they got rid of the “Roller Coaster” policy trailer, I hope they should bring it back.
I remember seeing the 2004-2010 policy trailer quite a few times as a kid at Regal Lloyd Mall 8 (which was closed down and replaced with office space in 2015). If only someone could find this bumper in its' entirety, and in high quality!
