Thank you for subscribing. We are glad you had a wonderful time on your Alaska cruise. We took one in May 2013 on Holland America's Oosterdam. It was our very first cruise and we caught the cruising bug. We've been on a total of 7 cruises so far and have 3 scheduled within the next 12 months. Hopefully the cruising industry will continue recovering in spite of the ongoing pandemic with its variants.
@@ChrisandtheDonnis We Started Cruising in 2018 and Caught the Cruise bug. We have 8 more booked so far. The Princess Crew were constantly cleaning so we felt very safe onboard.

The category of this cabin is DW. Deluxe Balcony Obstructed View. Inside cabin is better than a standard balcony, the balcony itself is regarded as obstructed view as it does not have a glass front but is larger than normal. Most balconies are just a bit deeper than the aluminium framed door in the divider between balconies.
I’d take a balcony *every time* I’ve never sailed on anything less than a balcony room. No way would I consider an inside cabin to be better. Please don’t try to pass off opinions as facts!
@@JulieWallis1963 I did not say that an Inside Cabin was better than a Balcony Cabin. What I was saying is that the inside of this Deluxe Balcony Cabin is better than the inside of a standard Balcony Cabin. There is not a lot of difference. The major difference of this particular cabin to a standard Balcony Cabin is that the Balcony itself is bigger but is nevertheless not glass and therefore defined as having an obstructed view.

@@mikemike7990 we have never been on Celebrity, but from what we know, they seem to be a slightly higher level than Princess. We recommend that you pick based on the itinerary you like most.
