The bad news? July 4th was the hottest say on earth in 125,000 years. The good news? We can reverse the effects of climate change and cool our warming planet.

I don’t get it. I agree with almost everything kiss the ground stands for and as a regenerative farmer I believe carbon sequestered by plants, particularly grasslands and pastures grazed by ruminant animals is the best solution. I just don’t understand saying it was the warmest day on earth in 125,000 years. That’s completely unprovable, and it’s makes people who I try to convert to regenerative ag not believe anything we say. It hurts the cause for no gain other then click bait.

agree; 100,000 years to millions and billions of years is laughable.

You are correct that was a completely false statement. I’m disappointed kiss the ground would put something like that out there.

No machines are required. The plants themselves take the carbon out of the air and put it in the ground with the help of soil organisms. With widespread regenerative grazing we can deal with the carbon that's already out there by fostering nature's process of carbon sequestration. It's already happening thanks to regenerative farming - but we need a lot more farmers practicing these methods.

takes a lot of energy just wick out the carbon from the air and put it in the ground. we dont have the machines to do it, and we have WAY too much carbon that we could possibly deal with anyway. the real solution is population reduction and regulation. i just wish our political leaders were brave enough to come out and say it, and start the conversation we should have had 200 years ago.
