Studio discussion at the 2nd Urban Hard and Soft Tissue Regeneration Symposium about the Future of Soft Tissue Regeneration Between Prof Istvan Urban, Prof Fouad Khoury and Prof Joseph Kan.
I have some expierience in autogenic cortical one piece block and I dont really agree that if it is exposed - it is gone. Usually trimming of exposed margin of the block helps to provoke secondary closure and more than 70-80% of the block is still there on the implant placent. Howewer I have to say that I use monocortical autogenic blocks mostly for minor augumentations - one or two teeth horizontal defects.
