Immediate extraction/immediate placement dental implants is a field that has blossomed as an opportunity to benefit patients in many ways to get teeth back. As more data comes out, modalities are getting more refined.
In Episode 20 of AO Spotlight, The Dental Guys dialogue with Joseph Y. K. Kan, DDS, MS about his research and presentations regarding connective tissue grafting techniques to enhance soft tissue and get the papilla just in the right place to set up patients for success.
During their conversation, the trio discusses developments, comparisons, and results between the approaches of connective tissue grafting, socket shield technique, and dual zone, as well as challenges with other methods, such as root shield.
