Hi Dr I had stem cell and prp treatment at NYC Location beginning of June 2019 for posterior horn medial meniscus tear. I have MRI done 5 months prior to stem cell procedure. When should I have another MRI done to see what is going on. I am a runner and have been using elliptical since injury but am hesitant to run 7ntil I can confirm healing is occurring.
I would definitely do an mri and post it on RU-vid for incontrovertible proof!!!!! Based on the before and after MRIs that we have taken of discs treated with mutiple different platelet and stem cell based technologies, I have only seen it happen once or twice. So it's not common after these therapies. In addition, these were discs that all had good height.
