Grazie REGGAE MUSIC, GRAZIE BOB MARLEY per averci fatto ballare, cantare,, riflettere e soprattutto per avere tenuto accesa la speranza in DIO. """""""'''""""O N E L O V E """""""""""
I dont know whether we should mention the main thing here. This is Rastafari . The most spiritual ,the most cerebral songs were performed by Rastafarian brethren. So in their recognition they should mention the basic premises where Reggae stands on. There are so many genres in the Caribbean,( e.g soca) which may not share the same appraisal which reggae is getting here. Even within the history of Jamaican music the reggae which is embraced by UNESCO is roots music, there was ska, rock steady , rockers/roots and now there is dancehall. If there is any recognition to be done in such a history its the roots history and its the Rasta who dominate there. So we nah criticize no one we just look at it differently. Dancehall in its current form should not be recognized as reggae that is contamination.
