Jamaicans came to the UK in the 40s. When they came, they came with the music, they changed the whole of the British society by playing Jamaican music and the American rock 'n roll music, at the time. If it wasn't for Jamaicans the Rolling Stones and the Beatles wouldn't exist. Later on with labels like Trojan a new generation of British musicians, Mods, Skinheads and Punks learn about Jamaican music, groups like Madness, the Clash, Selector, Specials and more were inspired by Ska and Reggae ... visit me at / rasorder
