Suge In jail for 30 years, 2pac dead, Reggie been to jail and almost died. So i am sure you will take Dr Dre life over either of those. Have common sense.
RBX Said Dre saw the pistol and heard the shots and started running, grunting, and gasping for air until he was out of breath. RBX then said Dre looked down at his legs and saw the blood and started hollering and high pitched screaming.😂😂
Good comment but I'm a good deeper reggie was letting choppers go like billy the kid in broad daydaylight every time suge got blasted on these is gangsta blood mob piru true story chronicles my niga
Reggie said he heard rumors LOL Suge bailed Dre out bcuz he was an artist making him major money, that's NOT what a captain save ho is, disrespectful po po, imagine that 🤔
No he means he was saving him in fighs and shit . Suge caught cases for dre he said as in suge got locked up sticking up for dre which is why he refers to suge as captain save a ho . Cos he was always saving the artists and beating people up. He had loads of assault charges in the early 90s mostly for that reason .. sticking up dre and others
@@ricol9291 d.o.c said suge wasn't a bodyguard for him or nwa but he may aswell of been because he took on that protector roll which made people think he was d.o.c bodyguard so that's aways Been a myth . Also when he was catching cases for dre it was during the forming of deathrow . Suge stopped bodyguarding in late 89 all the cases and drama he got involved in with dre in 91 and 92 had nothing to do with bodyagarding. So your comment is false as suge wasn't even doing security in the early 90s lol
After reading all (if not most of these) comments, let me put this claim to bed. Suge didn't shoot Dre. Suge and Dre were cool at the time as well as business partners. I think the incident where Dre was shot either took place in late 92 or early 93 sometime. Anyway, Dre shot after intervening in an argument that was getting physical and that could be seen or labeled pretty much as a domestic dispute between Jewell (Rest In Peace) and the guy that ended up shooting Dre in both his legs. Words were said and Dre fought dude. Dre knocked him down with a punch. He didn't knock him out. Dre hit dude with a good punch. Dre went after dude to continue beating the guy up and while dude was getting up, he pulled a pistol out. Dre tried to flee. Dude shot Dre and fled. So, Dre was shot after stepping in and defending his people (Jewell, RIP) who was being disrespected at the time. That's what happened. Jewell told the story.🤷🏾♂️
Facts!!! Dre did ko him 1 hotter quitter for beating jewel... (good man) Then dre was walking off and he started shooting and dre ran... dre was running cause jewel yelled and warned him when dude pulled the gun....
@adammckenzie8769 The dude didn't beat on Jewell. Yet, the arguing between them and the disrespect was starting to get out of control when Dre stepped it.
Around the time of shooting.. it was reported that Dre got shot on a motel balcony. In leg, thigh, or butt. Unknown assailant. If I recall correctly. Think it was in the Source
Snoop brought him back from the fucking dead people were laughing at Dr. Dre around that time especially when he left NWA he had nothing no snoop no Chronic no doggystyle. Come through for the people that made you relevant again
@@MikeMunday222 Dr.Dre was the Artist with the biggest name when they started Death Row because Snoop was a nobody at the time and Dre had produce 6 platinum albums at Ruthless and NWAl last album went number one in the country ,Death Row got their distribution deal on the strength of Dre even Jimmy iovine said Dre save his company so what in the hell are you talking about smh
How many or those chronic tracks did the dogg pound jump on, without the D.O.C Dre would not have no lyrics and then snoop would help out to. Dre had a mega team of young talent never seen again. Who co-produced the chronic. Daz was never given the credit
Once Suge started signing the talent, on top of the bullshit going on everyday in the studio, Dre started planning his departure. Suge has no one to blame but himself for the downfall of Death Row.
Dr Dre beating women in the head causing blindness deafness & brain hemorrhages had something to do with it.. Jimmy Iovene putting the hit on Suge & Tupac in Vegas caused the downfall
Dre said in vibe magazine in 96 he wasn't at snoop's trial because he hated court rooms. He also said Snoop didn't come see him while he was in jail but he didn't care cuz he didn't want nobody to see him locked up. But I coulda sworn I seen a video of Dr. Dre in court with snoop somewhere online.
"I'm bigger than you ,so what cha wanna do .. didn't know he had a 2-2.. straight sitting behind his back..I grabbed his pockets and then I heard six caps"..dr. dre (lil ghetto boy)
I also think Suge felt he had a golden egg in Tupac, so Dre leaving wasn’t going to hurt his pockets much AND he could still have Michell’e. Dr Dre proved that shit wrong!
He didn’t prove Suge wrong. The Aftermath compilation was hot garbage. The only thing that stopped death row (Pac’s death) had nothing to do with the musical competition of Dre vs. Death Row. Dr.Dre was falling off hard until he discovered Marshal
He was shot in 92 after the rumor he screwed with Suges girl or something is what I thought. But he didn’t want to kill him he just wanted to send the message that he would kill him. Which is why Dre was so damn faithful it was out of fear I bet.
Tupac was the root cause and the fall and Death of " Death Row ". If Tupac never signed to Death Row, the label perhaps would have still have been around to this day. Shug may have not gone to prison, Dre may have never left, Snoop and the other artist may have stayed and expanded their wings under the label, and Pac himself on another label may still be alive to this day, including Biggie.
Naw, Dre got a better deal with deathrow because he was 50% owner I believe. That's why Reggie say Suge was blessed to gain that much when Dre left. Was worth 150- 250m's being half owner but he just left in on the table without a fight because he was Rich in the Mind...
@@tytaylor1843 on paper it seemed a better deal. But how it ended up , they was worse off. Also everything being bought like houses cars , was all in suges name. They was getting money when they needed it, it wasn’t like Dre got paid 10million dollars cash for the sales of the chronic….not at all. The D.O.C when he had his vlad interview, he even mentioned it himself, he said in his own words they would have been better off staying with eazy and ruthless. At the same time , Dre didn’t walk away from deathrow with zero like everyone thinks, he got several million from the record company they was doing business with….
*I've been wondering about this for YEARS!!* I saw a doc on VH1 or Mtv in the early 00's about Dre, (behind the music or the rise and rise of...Dr.Dre or one of those types of shows they used to do back in the day.) And Dre talked about getting shot, in the chest if Im not mistaken and Snoop saying dre dropped cash when it happened and snoop was broke at the time (so musta been pre-Doggystyle) but he scooped up the cash and gave it back to Dre. ALL THESE YEARS I fucking knew I saw that shit! But it never heard it mentioned again, in the music, doc's, bio's, articles, not event in the N.W.A movie. Thought I was crazy or maybe Snoop&Dre were full of shit.
It was a pretty heavy story in rotation back in the day. It was on many news outlets at the time and in addition to both the VH1 Behind the Music special and the later MTV one, there were a few of those smaller straight-to-DVD documentaries on either Death Row, N.W.A., or the West Coast rap scene in general that have mentioned it. I have never heard it ever suggested that it was Suge. Always heard that Dre was hanging out with members of Snoop's DPG entourage and some altercation broke out and the guy Dre got into it with came back and shot him in the legs. The report as I heard it wasn't that Dre dropped money but because he was shot in the legs, the paramedics had to cut off the bloody pants to examine the wounds and the money got lost there. It would likely have happened early on in the Death Row days because Snoop said Warren was there and also RBX has an account of it and he left in 1994. At the time of the interview, X is clowning Dre so the video was probably recorded in 1994-95 when they weren't on good terms. They reconciled in 1996.
I’m glad you mentioned it. I remember seeing Dre talk about getting shot in the leg in that VH1 doc back in the day. And how it happened. Idk why people rather believe the rumors instead of the man himself saying what happened lol
@@crazyjim9380 this is exactly how I heard it . But I think I heard dre punched dude I think it was over some girl or some shit and he came back and shot him the legs . Or.got up and shot him
Kurupt told this story on the Breakfast Club. Kurupt said he knocked out some catt because Dre was a one-hitter quitter. He said he was fighting some catt and when Dre hit him dude went down but pulled out and shot Dre 2 times in his leg. Reggie talking about some being drunk or whatever!🤣😂😂

Tupac was loyal to the Death Row camp so For Dre not supporting his Pac took as like Dre was not Loyal to them but if Pac was alive they were going to solve it Quickly
2pac demanded 100% loyalty. The problem is that people don't owe you that loyalty back. He expected his efforts to be reciprocated but that's not realistic with anyone. Just cause I give you a million out of the goodness and loyalty of my heart doesn't mean you have to give me a million of yours. It's expected and when it doesn't come it hurts but those expectations when placed too high can be taken as a betrayal.
@@introverttman1687 during pac days you had predators & snakes , thats what bothered pac you can hear it in his lyrics , thats why i could in my example relate to him. "your would be think friends will dissapoint you quick "
Ingeresting that I'd heard a rumor in 8th grade that Suge shot Dre in the hand, and that that was the reason he left Deathrow. He took a picture with this weird gray glove on, too, that was in a magazine interview - so I really believed it. There was at least a kernel of truth in that story.
The dude who 2 pieced Dr.Dre, at the source awards , was a musician who Dr.Dre worked with in the studio, the brother laid down some tracks for Dre, and like most "Executive Producers" do , Dr.Dre claimed his work and used it for himself, that is the typical function in the music business though
