I’ve seen many comments here about moveset doing tons of damage. Then let me share you something: did you know that in great league a poltergeist from shadow chandelure does 1024% damage to deoxys attack form?
Regieleki can do 2dmg per lock on in some matchups but it seems like it’s only against glass cannons (like shadow charizard). Not quite against venusaur unless you purposely build an ultra low defense one.
There is a scenario according to pvpoke where depending on IVs eleki does 2 lock on damage to shadow venusar (and others probably but that's the only one I ran it against) lmaoo
Could you please provide the iv spreads for that. Because it shouldn’t be possible. Lock on base damage is 1. Which means it does 1 damage for every 1 lock on when it is neutral. Even in situations where lock on is resisted it still has to do 1 damage by default. And lock on is super effective against no type. So, I don’t think what you said is possible. But please let me know otherwise. Thanks
@@srinathvemula2686the attacking pokemon’s attack stat and the defending Pokémon’s defense stat are also taken into account. I’m assuming a GL Regieleki can have >2x as much attack as a GL Venu has defense, so its lock ons do 2x base damage. Edit: 1 base damage fast move breakpoints are just way harder to hit than other base damages, because e.g. a 5 base damage fast move user only needs 1.2x as much attack as the defender’s defense to increase to 1.2x5 = 6 damage. So I get why you’d assume lock on always does 1 damage
