I loved her in Boondocks but she changed my life in Watchmen. And I know her since Jerry McGuire and silly things like Daddy Day Care, and I've loved her through it all. But in Watchmen, as Sister Knight? She did it all. That might be my favorite series of all times.

I adore her. It's come to the point where her name is enough to get me to stop & invest. She embodies thoughtfulness, compassion, empathy, intelligence, humor, humility and beauty. She's a true legend. But how could you skip "American Crime" Vanity Fair? That was the single role that catapulted her career. If it wasn't for her performance there, a lot of what came next with "If Beal Streed Could Talk" and "One Night in Miami" would've never happened. They definitely should've included that in this, that was a disappointing move.

Super stoked that vanity fair has gotten around to doing one of these for Regina King, when Southland was on the air i was telling my friends that her portrayal of Det. Lydia Adams was going to be the type of character that was going to inspire and probably save some girls' lives somewhere down the line
