@@ajpc763 hindi nakaka preserve ng boses ang pag squeak at pag growl. :) Regine has always had twangy, feminine, ma-tremulong boses. Even in her younger days. She had to modulate her voice a lot to make it sound "heavier". She uses her 'nasal' placement to soften her notes.

You've said it best! Regine will always be the Queen and Mori is the ONLY singer that can match her caliber and more. I'm going to say it again, no one can better Mori. She is in her own league.

@@Ray-Gray Morissette's voice or tone is beautiful and her low register is really great nowadays. She's also full of emotion and you can really feel it that sets her apart.

Charice, to me, was a *"flash in the pan".* Amazing potential, but she squandered it. When you look at Morissette's career ascension, she didn't start off with the same hype as Charice. In fact, Mori was not even on my radar until around 2018. Not until I stumbled upon her live rendition of "Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Kita" on "ASAP Chillout" did I realize that Morissette is a force to be reckoned with. Mori really worked very hard to develop her voice and her signature sound, and we are witnessing the fruits of that labor today. Thus, imho, it's Morissette who really deserves to be "next in line" to Regine's throne.

Morissette is not a future legend. She has been a legend for years.
