I have an accordion with three buttons on the bass side with no indication. I suppose that that are different registers too. Do they also have names?

Any tips for getting really good at nailing the register changes on an instrument with so many switches?

Sure... You just have to differentiate the registers with one, two, three or four reeds and at the same time the ones that are in the lower, middle and higher pitch. Through practice everything will make sense.
