As a farmer, I rely on my 4x4 Ute to pick up farming supplies. I don't think a Tesla would cut it carrying a ton of fertiliser and drive the dirt roads around here. It's becoming an absolute joke. If our poo was worth anything they'd tax our bumholes. Fully support you guys, another great video 😤

I respect farmers, it's a hard job and your lucky to break even but with our you we wouldn't have fresh produce on our plates. I used to be a game keeper in my spare time and builder for my full time job. I got out of the building trade due to the price of materials going up and the price of the jobs going down to a point of it wasn't profitable to renew my gas licence. I'm glad I got out of it when I did and now I'm a truck driver, more money and less stress. I own a ford ranger coz I live away from home in the truck and have a weeks worth of gear to carry coz I have to dekit every week. I don't have enough space with out taking stuff out to go shopping etc. My family lives in the country down some roads that you need 4wd to get down especially in the winter or when it's been raining.

I’m a tradie and I can remember when I was an apprentice I thought it was a good idea to grab 15 bags of concrete and put them in the boot of my Honda Accord……I’ve never felt more unsafe in a car in my life…..the Titanic would have steered better. In the cars defence I’m sure the 18 year old suspension was not up to the task. Since then maturity has improved and I wouldn’t think twice about that kind of weight, especially tools going into a smaller car. Tradies need the bigger cars to safely carry our tools around. It offers me a point of difference in a competitive industry. Utes and large vehicle are needed in the world and we should not be taxed for wanting the ability to help others. I do not charge for tip runs or styling or any other use for the use...Having a ute is so useful even for a "desk job" like being an agent... And it means I can help the community and get away on weekends, away from the crowds and phone ringing when I need down time. How friggin ridiculous, I bought my 2014 D-Max just a few years ago so I could get in and out of a vehicle without causing anymore stress and pain to my back which for me comes about when having to stoop down and back up again when trying to get into a standard low car. A 4x4 on the other hand, alleviates all the back pain while getting in and out of the higher seat. I’d never buy a small low car. It would be way too painful. Well done on in this episode guys. The issue in Australia is that the general public is calm and obedient enough to allow this to happen. That 'She'll be right' attitude. I went from having a vehicle i could afford was my 1st car with less than 25,000 miles on it, to I'm out of a job because i cant afford gas. i watched gas go from 3.43$ a gallon to 4$ than 5$ and during covid it shot up to 6$ a gallon now I'm spending 80$ every 3 days i had a 350$ payment 250$ insurance. and i only made 1200$ a month. i was left with 100$ for food and bills not related to the car. i was forced to quit my job because i could no longer afford to drive 60+ miles round trip to work and home every day. all it did was make me sit and realize after these new laws came in to play was my sate and those who run my state dont care about the people one bit only about filling there pockets so they can give eachother raises. i hope this works out better for you guys over in the AU then it did for me in the California USA

This is the first I've heard about it. I bought a dual cab Triton as I have a growing family, use my vehicle to take tools to customer locations for work, pick up and drop off CFMoto SXS (I'm a dealer) and take the family camping (avoids the need for a trailer at this time). I couldn't do my job without a large vehicle capable of towing over a tonne through a paddock so yes I need 4wd as well. I sell a lot of vehicles to famers and they do break down in the field and some are hobby farmers that don't have another vehicle to tow their own stuff out. I can't say I've ever parked in a loading zone for a quick stop at the shop as it's not what it's there for. If they think bigger vehicle makes more noise then those people have never heard a Harley Davidson. The biggest issue is these inner city, hand moisturising, "meat comes from the supermarket" bastards have never worked with their hands or done any physical labour so they think they know better. It's not just tradies or 4wd owners getting the shit covered end of the stick either. The government is trying to take away all our rights and freedoms!

Great work guys, We are pensioners with a big Y62 to tow our van, would definitely not like a price hike on our rego! Hubby would love a pair of those fancy boots, he has spurs on his heels from working as a heavy duty mechanic for 50 odd years probably wearing $#!£ boots. Cheers fellas 🍻
