I can't get full resolution red raw 8k60 (a single stream) to play faster than 20fps - - donno what im doing wrong but had to put it on half resolution in the program window (128GB RAM and 4TB Ultra)
Resolve. Latest build. Shot like 5:1 I think but even 10:1 didn't seem to wanna play without downresolving the preview. and favooring proxys @@btonelli
I have the m2 pro Mac mini , I went with that for 1399$ because I make videos on RU-vid and produce music I was gonna get a reg Mac 2021 but they suggested a Mac mini m2 pro
@@btonelli it has been great , but it has froze once or twice & when I streamed with my capture card the elgato it froze so for 1400$ idk it’s fast and good but it has its flaws
during your interview at the end of the video : What do u mean by playback is a little bit slower because its rendering out In after effects ? Would playback have been better in rendering out in premiere pro ? Wouldnt this all be much faster in final cut and motion because its optimized for apple
When the 1 hour video was exported from Premier, the m2 Ultra was 3 minutes faster than the m2max. Short videos are fast, but long videos make little difference, is that right? How much difference is there in the 30-minute video?
@@btonelli I have one more question. Is it true that bottlenecks occur in 76 cores? So 60 Core makes better use of cpu? Anyway, 76 cores have a fast rendering speed?
I can’t necessarily answer this question. From my experience bottlenecks can also be a result of the application vs the chipset etc. it takes time for developers to adapt their products to match the capabilities of the chipset especially when it’s new. This is why reviews right from the initial release of a product aren’t always accurate vs giving time for developers to make the necessary changes to take advantage of the new architecture
