I love that you are one who shed light into this because alot of people don’t say the truth into living in these countries like Canada, uk , USA depression ,anxiety, missing your family at home not getting a job that you desire and some people make life not like it’s not like work three or more jobs just pay our bills 💵 it’s hard .

I can relate 100%. I even had to take a break from RU-vid because it felt like I did not know what I was doing. Still trying to find my footing. Little things like decorating my house to feel like home helps

Honestly all these points you’ve mentioned are absolute realities. Having a community here helps a lot with keeping your mental health in check cos Canada is such a “mind your business” country. Planning yourself from home is definitely one thing new comers should strongly consider 📌, nothing rosy here, it all takes a while and we also have to be patient with ourselves, no comparison, stay on your hustle and make it better each day.

Truth!! Plain truth! Everyone thinks when you travel out generally everything will work out perfectly. NO!! Its not that way. Leaving your home country doesn't automatically mean you'll start enjoying oo. Abroad no be heaven. I tell people. I hope you get used to the new system and make friends and network more. I am not in Canada but to be honest, Canada is way way better than Nigeria cos seeing situations in Nigeria will get you frustrated one way or the other…You are growing where you are and you continue to grow and learn how to improve and you will look back to give thanks to God that you never gave up. I disagree with you. Most immigrants don't want to stoop low for a survival job in the first year b4 deciding which career path to go for.onc3 ur Bill is taken care of....any course like ba or even as an msc holder ,accerelated courses can do.canada is far better than naija in all ramifications. Am in naija and I pay tax as public servant and still want to immigrate as a mother of 4 at 40..so no shaking ...
