35:52 Life of Toshiro looked incredible here. There's a non zero chance they skipped their turn 3 because if they played another 1 thoughness creature it would just die to the saga. That's huge tempo that you don't really see but it's there.

I actually think there is a lot of correct bluffing in magic. We just don't think about it because its so common. Leaving a land in your hand to keep people guessing and leaving up blue mana when you have the choice are a couple examples.

Blue decks draw a lot of cards is this format and ones with 3 Behold the Unspeakable draw more than most. This means that decking is a very real possibility. Reito offers a fairly low opportunity cost way of ensuring he won't deck while increasing the likely hood that his opponents will.

These videos would be much more enjoyable if they were uploaded earlier. By this point the set has been out for 5 days and it's already a bit bit boring to watch Reid's overall second draft. That's maybe just me though

The set itself is pretty boring to draft tbh from my experience. Reid usually makes things interesting, but I dropped this video from P1P1 since it's already set up to be exactly the same as his previous video.

Sorry, I'm not sure if I'm the only one who thinks this way, but I watch draft videos for creativity/interesting decks and plays. I'm not at all interested in watching someone skip a very interesting mythic pick 1 just for the blue card they're used to. Love your content, but this is a hard pass for me. Made it to exactly 2:23 before I became disappointed and stopped the video.

I played it yesterday and it wasnt good in any of the 7 games I played. I think it's one of those cards that seems like it's going to be powerful because its mythic but ends up not being impactful.

Reid is a player that can make it work. I'm not interested in seeing another basic blue deck when you've got a clear path to something more interesting, even if it's not the perfect deck. His draft from yesterday was interesting because he picked the fun cards to start and ended with the deck he did. It even included the same cards from his P1P1 here, but I'm not interested in watching the same video twice.

Some people play to win, some people play to have fun. There's plenty of youtubers and steamers that play to have fun, numot just did a kami war draft if you wanna go check him out instead, I liked this video, it was very insightful

I understand the point you're trying to make, but the counter-point is that maybe some people like to watch Reid because he's one the best players in the world, so they're interested in his analysis and thought-process. If you're not, and would rather see someone who values novelty, memes, or otherwise unconventional or less-spikey drafting, then maybe you should just find a different type of player to watch. But his P1P1 was objectively correct for the reasons he mentions in the video

I always wish youtubers would go for the crazy decks as well, but the P1P1 was 100% the right choice, as was evident in the results. What I personally find stupid boring are aggro decks. I will often stop the video after a few Rakdos picks, but any kind of control build like this and I'm in. To each his own. We can always stop watching.
