A family that kills five siblings to protect one, it's no surprise she comes to have a twisted personality.

This series just keeps getting better with every episode. I can't believe no one is talking about it. ⚔️🔮

For me, the plot twist wasn't just that she is crazy and a kidnapper, but she actually believes in the cause and wasn't pretending.😅

Oliver gives off a, trained by the best of the best/secret agent sort of vibe.

What a lovely episode, but I once again felt bad about Katie. Not only did her crush get kissed by two other good looking women. But she also got kidnap by a psycho. Speaking about that white haired psycho, it felt like she come directly from this world version of PETA. In how she did act in her Demi-human “activist” ways. Like trying to uplift magical creatures intelligence to try and make them get rights is a bit messed up. But what is even more messed up is how her solution to seeing the troll talk to Katie who was nice to it instead of who did a lot of experiments of him. Is to just cut up her head and look for answers instead of you know actually be nicer with the creature. And I also loved how they showed that Andrews did help our group out a little. By warning them of the abusive teacher, and to make the student who pulled the prank on Katie in the first episode to say that she is sorry. And the way they did her reason for it was quite understandable as that was something that her parents her to do against right activities. Then we got more hints about Olivier as he seems to have a destiny or greater propose here. As well as we did see his cousin here. Which gave of some Alabama vibes lol. Also Nanao was indeed smooth as she first gave Olivier a “victory” kiss then asked him for one too. That is a good way to get a kiss from a love interest. And she would have gotten away with it if it where not for his cousin lol. Then I also loves that we see the classes they take here at the magic academy. Like we saw my teacher waifu here teach the students the difference between different species guts. And looking at their faces it sure was an experience to have especially as lunch was right next after this lesson

I think you are wrong when you say that Kimberly Magic School has no rules. There is one clear, implicit rule: Do Not Get Caught. Can be interpreted in so many possible ways: Do not get caught... - Making a mistake in Potions class. - In magical crossfire. - In the Labyrinth. - In someone else's research and/or vendetta. Or prank. - In the hands of the psycho that poses as your friend. - In the act. Other than that, do whatever you want. Maybe cull the bully population? Also, trust in that school seems like a gamble: either you get Oliver Horn, who looks after you, teaches you magic and tries to help you when you are about to be petrified; or you get Vera Milligan (I think that's psycho girl's name), who wants so badly to see inside your brain to find out what makes you tick. Approach everyone with caution and a healthy dose of skepticism. I'm just looking to see what comes next. Hope Katie comes out of the ordeal remaining 100% Katie. Hope Pete does not have an alchemical accident. Hope no one is thrown under the bus for their research. PD: Nanao and Katie are such cinnamon rolls. The reward kiss scene was pure sugar.

I love how Oliver character is written and how the others will think of him. I am curious how Oliver and Nanao friendship/relationship will turn out and also how all of the main characters friendships/relationship turn out between all of them. I have read the first volume, but I'll not saying about future events, but the anime did show some things different, but I think light novel, and anime did a good job getting the feeling across the same more or less at less that I thought so far.

Miligan felt a bit suspicious with the after credits scenes in previous episode, but this one actually confirmed she is twisted in more than one way 😨 The Opening also give us a hint about her true nature! Oliver is really a mysterious boy, perhaps he just learn well magic before even entering this messed up school 🤔 Perhaps by that blond witch in the flashback at episode 1 (she's also in the Ending)? This show deliver us a incredible plot twist and I'm more than excited to see more of this crazy magic academy story 😎🔥

One point I want to make because I don't think the anime clarified enough and lots of people seem to misunderstand it. The reason Oliver, Guy and Nanao were thrown into detention over fighting with the bullies was because it happened in a classroom in the school proper. The actual school has much more rigid, controlled rules which the teachers actively oversee and enforce. It's the labyrinth where it becomes no holds barred. Also, amazingly enough, not all of those students in the Colosseum will have actually died. Mages are stupid resilient, which is why classes are so much more dangerous, because if a student is badly maimed, no biggie, just heal them! It leads to a very blasé attitude to pain and suffering. That's why it's only a 20% mortality rate and not 20% survival rate, like people have been saying. There's a lot more to magic than people realise yet, more much eldritch shit going on, and that inhuman survivability is a part of it, along with the "consumed by the spell" aspect, which is literal obsession for your craft to the point of insanity, losing your sense of self and becoming the personification of the spell's will. That's not even mentioning the gods, and the interdimensional eldritch horror shows they represent... there's so much more to enjoy.

" -"Maybe he's looking for someone, weather to attack or to find" You were asking the right questions, you were right. As we see in the next epsiode, he is here to attack and get revenge.

That teacher is literally a mix of Snape, Slughorn and Lockhart when you think about it. Also, did you notice that scene at the start where Oliver had that flashback/image in his head when that hooded woman was talking to him? I'm thinking it has something to do with why Oliver's at the school. There's alot of elements with Oliver where it really makes you wonder what exactly his background is since we have so little info about him.

So overall, I like the episode, although there were some changes that im not too happy about. In the anime, Andrews is the one who gets the student who attacked Katie to apologize, but in the novel, the group realize that the pride plants were witnesses and go to them and try to make them laugh in order to get them to talk to them about what happened, and all of them fail except Guy, and they find out about the student from them. It might sound trivial, but that scene contained an important character moment for Oliver that would be given payoff later, and now im wondering how that payoff will play out in the anime. Also, when the troll talks to Katie for the first time, Miligan wasnt there initially and Katie goes to her friends first, and she then goes to Miligan to tell her and that is how she was captured. Oliver makes the deductions about the troll escaping after hearing what it had to say, and i prefer that over getting it from an offhand comment from Nanao.

I'm not suprised the other older student was a traitor, but dear lord every senior student we've seen so far has been either crazy or evil and i'm starting to wonder how many of these students go insane at this school by the end because thats got be as high as the "recorded" death rate. Nanao and the Katie with the kiss for Oliver was fun, also Pete no need to rub it in quite so much, i'm intrested to see what happens with Olivers cousin though given the current record of older students i really don't feel safe saying she's going to be an ally at somepoint. I'm going to be intrested to see how that fight next time goes as we have an older, crazy but intelligent senior student with Gorgan powers, but we've already seen Nanao punch well above her weight in a fight that older students were wetting themselves.

That one teacher kind reminds me of professor snape mixed with umbridge. But he really cruel and sadistic Ihey gonna leave Katie alone, she can't even breathe without getting harassed. Great fuckin' cliffhanger to leave it on. One hella of way to keep you hooked

Here is my take on this series. I love the twisted world of Hogwarts, except that all of the Instructors are just as ruthless as the students that are attending their classes. What's more worse is that, when you have conflicts of interests among other students, its literally called, "Watch your front as well as your back, including your backside." Talk able how thing are being taught in this school: 1 - As far as safety is concerned, you can throw away risk management away because, "It DOESN'T exist!!" 2 - As far as following rules, "What rules???" You have a target on your back 24/7/365. 3 - As far as assistance is concerned, here are some options below: Option A: "I need HELP!!..CRAP!!! There is no help.", Option B: "How much are you willing to pay for my "assistance" hmm??" Option C: "Yes!! the Calvary has arrived..."Oh SHIT!!!"" Option D: With tears in eyes, and a heavy heart, "Oh thank GOD!! Help has arrived!!" 4 - As far as education is concerned, learn as much, and as quickly as possible, in order to get more powerful. 5 - Make as many friends as possible, after all, they are either, allies, tools, or cannon fodder. After all that, I'm still thinking to myself, "Why the hell would anyone in god's name, would want to attend a school, with a widely renown reputation, an incredibly high graduation rate, but with an ungodly high dropout/death rate? I really would love to judge everyone's morels and ethics on this subject matter. "Is it really worth risking your life??" For me, "Oh HELL YEAH!!", and the reason is too obvious. Just like "Pokemon" (or "Pocket Monsters" for those who really know what the true title is), "I want to be the very best.", or in this anime's case, gather as many allies as you can, while extract and eliminate all that oppose your will, judgement, and/or power. I'm really enjoying the ride so far, and hopefully the demi-humans get to live as much as the humans can, while making sure that my friends don't get bodied at all, some lives are too important to extinguish. After all, helping out the demi-human helped in finding my friend, whom happens to be in danger. Until next time, Enjoy!!

Maybe it was lost in translation, but at least the german subtitles mentioned that no student died during the colosseum mishap. Which is bull. Still, glad to see that there seems to be some sort of story actually happening after four episodes of par-for-the-course plotpoints. This show is surprisingly okay :)

This series is where you dont really know what the type it is until your like halfway though it. Even in the LN, you don't know the direction the story is going until a good ways into it.

Last episode: Extreme bad side of creature haters willing to make them their toys to kill. This episode: Extreme bad side of creature lovers willing to make them their experiment to give them rights. I guess this manga clearly isn't one dimensional and I love it. Right now I'm in a state of "trust nobody from this chool, everyone is effin crazy" 😅

Trying not to comment too much on this show because the LN is so good, and I don't want to accidentally spoil anything.

You know, I was wondering how they'd top last week. Friggin' brain surgery? Damn. That'll do it. And yeah, I was thinking the same, Oliver is definitely not a student, there's a lot more behind him.

I got to be honest… I’m not as excited about this anime as I was in the beginning… so many questionable choices… 1) this plot twist wasn’t a twist… she was spoiled as a villain in the opening song every episode 2) there still isn’t really any use for introducing Katie/guy/pete outside of them being fodder/damsels for villains 3) Mr Andrews was converted to a good guy way too quickly imo, what was the point of his build up over two episodes if his plot point would be resolved so quickly The writing is starting to show why this will be good but not great anime, which sucks because I expected it to be a lowkey anime of the year candidate

This show is almost good but a character named katie exist. I'm so close to dropping this one because of that character lol
