Steel will always be one of my favorite Supermen of all time. Even in the comics Lois commented that Steel was the closest person to matching the soul of the original Superman.

In case nobody mentioned it, Superman used to have several nicknames, and three of the Supermen are a call back to those: The Man of Steel, The Last son of Krypton, and The Man of Tomorrow. Lexcorp's Superman is, of course, a call back to Superboy,

I love the little hints at Cyborg Superman's true intentions like how when he and Eradicator blow up Lex's building neither of them cared that Mercy would have been caught in the blast. Like they immediately told you Cyborg Supes wasn't trustworthy.

I love this story and I’m so glad they decided to turn it into a movie. I wish they would’ve done the Hal stuff bc ironically this storyline got me into Green Lantern but I love that they’re finally giving Superman’s stories their due. I want them to do Panic in the Sky next!

Can’t wait to see your reaction to the Tomorrowverse, which is a reboot from this universe. After you watch Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (which is the last movie), watch Constantine House of Mystery, it’s like an epilogue that connects to the new universe.

I was 14/15 when this story was happening. I wasn't into Superman comics at the time but I saw on the news they were talking about him dying and I was like "Superman can't DIE." So I picked up the trade, which came out amazingly fast, that had collected the entire story from Doomsday breaking out of his "tomb" all the way to the final blows between him and Superman. That story made me appreciate Superman. I always thought he was just an over powered, annoying boyscout. But then the aftermath followed in the "Funeral for a Friend" story arch over several books and I kept reading. And then the new Super kids on the block showed up and I was there for the ride. That whole thing was nuts, man.

These are my favorite DC animated movie runs. Watched these during the beginning of the pandemic. Just love how it all comes to a fold in the finale. Hope ya'll get there.

I would have preferred the story from the comics...Henshaw blasting kryptonite energy at a freshly healed, but still de-powered Superman, with Eradicator sacrificing himself by blocking the blast and filtering the energy so that what hit Superman actually restored his powers. I loved that whole Death of Superman/Funeral for a Friend/Reign of the Supermen run of comics back in 1992-1993...I was 20 years old when Superman #75 came out and had been reading all along since the post-Crisis John Byrne reboot. That will always be my favorite Superman iteration.

New 52 just hits different. The style, the story... The Young Justice 😄... Also - I believe Batman: Hush and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines are the only two left of this style (besides the big final - Apokolips War and the aforementioned series). This and death of superman make up one of my favorite animated movies of these dc animated movies. I recommend after finishing the dc animated movie universe that you watch crisis on 2 earths and batman/ superman public enemies. On a side note: Wife at the time? Jerry o'connel and Rebecca Romijn are still happily married.

3 things. 1. Wonder Woman Bloodlines is the next one in the chrono order then Justice League Dark Apokolips War. 2. Y'all aren't ready for Apokolips War. shit gets CRAZY 3. Superman: Man of Tomorrow starts the reboot called the Tomorrowverse which is very cool in an Archer animation style.

These are great movies. I read the comics when they came out. They're great, and some things are different in the movies. The kept all the heart and impact from the comics. Most DC Animated movies are really good. They did fubar the Hush ending, but it's the only one that comes to mind.

The fact they NEVER did anything with Superboy, was the purest level of frustration. It was like they had a bigger universe planned out with more movies, and DC just cut it short and told them to end it and move on. There was two more movies (Batman Hush and Wonder Woman Bloodlines), where it then culminated with Justice League: Grim Dark Bullshit (Apokalips War). It just... kind of ended.

I love the reactions to the animated movies, but what I would love even more is (if he hasn't already seen it) for Coy to react to Superman and Lois the tv series. I know John and Greg have reacted to seasons 1 and 2 (seriously you guys need to react to season 3...it's SO much better than season 2) but I'm not sure if Coy has. As a hardcore die hard Superman fan, it is one of the absolute greatest Superman properties out there. Easily top 5. The show really gets what makes him and Lois such amazing characters, and I guarantee the first episode along will have Coy marking out over all the classic references. He'll love the twists and turns. And the emotional scenes will definitely have you shedding a few tears.

Connor is my favorite of the supermen. Love his character! Although his 90s leather jacket look is iconic and amazing, I really like his t-shirt look from the Geoff Johns run. His relationship with Cassie Sandsmark (Wonder Girl) is one of the most iconic Titans ships. And personally, his Infinite Crisis arc is my favorite of him. Loved how they shed spotlight on him in this huge DC Crisis event.

These guys should watch Young Justice with Greg after this universe. Recommend watching Green Lantern the animated series before season 4 of Young Justice. Should also probably watch the new animated movies "The Tomorrowverse" but, so far it only has 3 good films imo.

So I realize that there were many variations of them, but I'm referring here to two in particular. which of the two was physically stronger?? Carter Hall (human)/Hawkman or Thanagarian (Shi'Eera)/Hawkgirl?? Sorry not 100% clear on the spelling of her name; too many variations lol. But still I wonder which was physically stronger.
