Hey, you're the guy that made the Fetus band members videos. The last one with Underøath was the Cherry on top. I'm not gay, but Aaron Gillespie (drummer) is hot.
Ah, good old days when gaming industry was actually caring and fun. Good games, awesome soundtracks and amazing atmosphere. NFS MW, FlatOut 1/2. These games are my childhood. And through them I found many amazing bands I still listen to nowadays.
@@alejandroperez5368 this particular song was in FlatOut 2, Amped 3 and Arena Football. But I first heard it in FlatOut 2. And this is the game that started my Underoath journey. NFS MW is THE reason I got into core music. I got my first PC in 2005 and NFS with it as a present. Until then I was listening to some Linkin Park, Slipknot, Disturbed, etc. And then there were bands like BFMV and A7x that sparked this love for core music. Till this day I mostly listen to metalcore/deathcore/post hardcore because of these 2 games (although I do dabble into a lot of different genres like hip-hop, rap, jazz, etc).
@@TheShmrsh Music never dies. The problem is that as you get older you tend to only hear new music through the mainstream, and mainstream pop music has always been mostly terrible.
This is the first underoath song I heard. I love this song. It's weird that there's going to be a whole generation of us still listening to this when we're old. I love that haha
The eternal fight against your own fears, the eternal fight against your own mind. This is my anthem to fight my own demons and I always come out victorious.
i am now 37 and my wife and I still rock to this. been listening to these amazing artists since "when the sun sleeps". i remember dating my wife when she bought this album when it just came out (they're only chasing safety)... it was so incredibly good... she said she would lend it to me... i went out and bought it. she was so confused. she said "why buy it when i have it" well... cause borrowing it isn't good enough.
good on you man, no cd burning + ripping & zero piracy involved. support your fave bands/artists even though the label might hold out on royalties/compensation.
I started playing flat out 2 at 4 years old, it was my first game. Here I am at 21, still listening to the songs. After syncing roughly 8000 hours into the game, grinding the leaderboards and obsessing over the game I truly think it was a critical component to who I am today. Does anyone else feel the same way?
When I was in 7th grade in 04 I used to have an odd habit of opening up Yahoo Launch music and I would watch this music video almost every morning for a long time. #Obsessed Years later Uø would inspire me to get off drugs. #6Years
Twelfth and Hyde on a Sunday Feeling like we're gold And we're nothing short of invincible Invincible Invincible It starts again, can you feel it? It takes your breath away Stop saying that we're invincible It's around and round You're uninviting, unrewarding And I'm misinforming you, misinforming you We all want to be, want to be somebody Right now, we're just looking for the exit This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall It's you and me on a Monday The lies that we told This is where we both go numb now You broke my heart again this time You're fading now, you crossed the line You crossed the line We all want to be, want to be somebody Right now, we're just looking for the exit This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall Reaching out for a hand that's not here But you're not there But you're not This is the way I would have done this Up against your wall, up against your wall This is the way we should have done When we're up against a wall Up against the wall This is the way I would have done this Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall This is the way I would have done this Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall

This Music Video is a HUGE inspiration for me. The first time I saw it on TVU, I thought it was amazing, and strived to make something that wicked cool. My first Video for my Production Methods class is an homage to this video. Not only that, but this Song makes me happy. =]
One of the best songs from my emo days. Re-discovered it because of coronavirus and too much free time in quarantine. Wanna go back to my high school days, anybody agrees? ♥
А если сравнивать с альбомом they're only chasing safety, с таким же вайбом остается только поп-панк нулевых слушать по типу yellowcard, fall out boy, panic at the disco, но без криков.
I love these guys so much! : D They are so different than most bands. They are not just plain and have to include breakdowns that sound that every other one.

from the moment i know this song since before 2010, it's always my all time favourite and still listen till today ..and i will keep on listen till i die... from my opinion, this band is one of the most underrated band in the world
Such a good song. Thank you flatout 2. The game and soundtrack really helped shape who I am today. Bumping this and others in my 1986 Toyota Cressida shitbox
