Michael Acuna this is what happens when a game tries to conform. It loses it's identity. This looks nothing like a resident evil game. I will still play it. It just won't be a RE game to me. They're trying to cash in on the success of first person horror games.

***** Exactly, why not call it some thing eles? Or at least give it a subtitle like Resident Evil: Shadow Files or something but a numbered sequel? That's makes no sense because a numbered sequel makes me think it's connected to the main series of games.

none of those games you listed interest me at all. last of us 2 isnt happening for like a year, same with spiderman and god of war, youre naming games that are so far down the list of releasing ahhahahah, uncharted 4 was relevant for 1 week and its also dead. gran turismo hasnt been relevant since ps2 came out. horizon zero dawn looks good but like most games on console, it gets a major downgrade befoer it releases, so many broken promises.

I'm a pc guy too, but I gotta admit the upcoming ps4 exclusives look amazing. Uncharted 4 is mostly a single player game, a great one at that, so relevance doesn't really apply to it. Gran turismo has been lackluster though.

All they did was to change the 3rd person survival horror to 1st person survival horror.. At least that is all I can see.. But we will see it when the game is released, I hope it will be a good game :)

Resident Evil has been garbage the last few games. 5 was ok but 6 was just straight trash. Glad they are going back to a straight horror game. We don't fully know how this connects but maybe after playing the game we will understand how it all connects.

Sudzy Finlay No, not at all. In other word I don't trust Capcom to actually aim to make a great game. I just used Kojima cause this game is inspired by what Silent Hills was meant to be. I think Capcom just saw Silent Hills and were like "Holy shit, let's do that! People love it! MOOONNNEEEEYY!" I mean, I'm almost 100% sure this game is gonna make them a lot of money but not because it will be great but because people project what Silent Hills was going to be, in their mind after they saw PT, onto this game.

I played it and I call bullshit. This is nothing like the old games.. But I actually liked what I played so I got a little bit more trust now. Also, they certainly took a lot inspiration from PT and it certainly wasn't far enough into the development cycle to not implement some of what they saw in PT. Especially since it made huge waves. Still think Silent Hills had a bit more promise, but I'm also still excited for this game.
