both the autosnipers from csgo are universally hated, but the awp is generally a better weapon for anyone who has a decent amount of skill, even if everyone seems to think the autos are op.
+james james the scout isn't as powerful as it was in css, but it is a lot more accurate during jumpshots and moving around in general compared to the AWP. Good 2nd round purchase when no one has armor since it's cheap and effective. The AWP is definitely a no joke weapon in the hands of certain people, but it's expensive, so people usually scout sniper to get that cash.

Few thing I have to say because I'm a gun nerd. 1. The gun you referred to as the dragunov wasn't actually a dragunov, in simple terms a dragunov resembles and AK receiver whereas the gun you had resembled an M4 receiver. 2. In goldeneye 007 (the new one), the dragunov is a good gun.
3. He was using an M110. 4. It doesn't suck in anything (or shouldn't), but it is portrayed to do little damage because it is semi-auto, probably for balancing reasons.
Thanks, I'm not that great at recognizing M-style weapons. Also, I agree with your second point because if the dragunov was balanced realistically it would function similarly to the Barrett in MW3 (Bad game, IK), albeit with less damage because it's a lower caliber.

The Dragunov had 10 rounds while the RSASS, aka the M110 in this game, had 20 rounds, same damage, and less recoil) and some of them never even existed (e. Dragunov is a great weapon in Call of Duty 4 if you know how to use it. It's essentially for anyone who can actually aim since it kills from rib-cage up without stopping power (damage increase) and ignores juggernaut (health increase) on the enemy. I never understood why so many people ignored it but it is the only sniper rifle in the game that can make full use of UAV jammer or juggernaut and my personal favorite.
