Rekordbox best kept secret: matching tracks explained in my latest AMA live stream for DJs  

On my CDJ3000's the matching tracks works brilliantly. Can't comment on other CDJs but I'm pretty sure the 2000NXS2 has it too

@@MixMasterG it works also on older CDJs but you cannot connect tracks while playing on them stand alone. you can only find already matched tracks. this makes the feature only half as good as it could be as usually the good ideas come up while playing.

​@@ClarkWohlert yup, that is very true, but you can always recreate from the history list. Not as ideal but still an option

I want to add something which might be usefull for everyone. I combine the new RekordBox 7 AI functionality with matching songs. A) first thing - generate a Cue tendency info file (so RB7 can match songs based on their AI algoritme). B) open two players AND open two tree view windows. The window (1) below - set it on your playlist. The window (2) above - open the track suggestion - collection radar. C) play a song of window 1 in your 1st player. Now window 2 gives you automatically suggestions based on the AI engine from rekordbox as generated in your Tendency file. Drag and drop this songs (one by one) to your 2nd player and mark them as matching nrs. Now - if you export your playlist on USB, you can see (playing live) all the matching nrs on your CDJ’s you have marked in Rekordbox 7. And to be honest : the AI algorithm from #PIONEERDJ is briljant ! There is a lot more to talk about, but i hope this (short version of all the steps to be taken) will guid you the correct way to use matching nrs in a much more sophisticated way. Because it can be real helpful finding your next perfect matched song.
