When you reach theoretically impossible levels of ADHD

Fun fact, this phenomenon happens because your brain effectively treats thresholds like doors as loading zones, compartmentalizing tasks into specific areas. If you're not actively thinking about a task, you brain leaves it in the room you just left sometimes. Which is why the maddening corollary to this is turning around, returning to your seat AND IMMEDIATELY REMEMBERING WHY THE FUCK YOU WERE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE happens.

Wait James wasn't the cop. This feels wrong.

The gun, bag, and toque appearing out of thin air is absolutely the ADHD cherry on top of this all. It's like that moment of using your phone as a flashlight to try to find your phone in the dark.

Beejcop, ten seconds later: "What did I come out here for? Oh, right, I'm arresting a guy!"

Captain Janeway on her way to promote Ensign Kim for the umpteenth time "Have you ever walked in to a room and forgot what you were about to do?"

I love the visual implication that the gun and the bag weren't in the first shot because, despite actively holding them and gesturing with them, they had completely disappeared from Graham('s character)'s perception.

On a serious note... it once took me five trips to get a glass of water.

"Hey what would be the funniest shirt for a robber to wear?"

As someone with ADHD, that was so cathartic. I swear my stairs double as a memory wipe device.

This went places I wasn't expecting...just like Voyager.

Crapshots already have great setups and payoffs, but the jokes in this one were especially well executed.

Love the sketch, love the jokes, but most of all, loved the jumper. Voyager 4 Life!

This might be a new favorite. Every part of it was so good, down to and including the Voyager shirt for someone who keeps forgetting what he's doing for a bit each time he comes somewhere new.

On that opening shot alone I was thinking: "ah shoot, the furtive pygmy!"

This, to me, is peak Crapshot. Simple setup leading into a clever subversion with a final zinger at the end. Classic.

Graham is getting as forgetful as I am. Wait what was I doing again? Oh right! Tacos!

Gee, and I was frustrated because I got up to go do something, forgot what I was going to do, came back and sat down... before remembering I had to get up to go to the bathroom.

When you walk into a new room, your mind makes room for new thoughts/ideas/etc so that is why you forget what you were doing when you go through a doorway.

Watching along thinking "sure, good bit, is there gonna be a murderer chasing after him or a fire in the other room?" And it just kept getting funnier. Knocking it out of the park folks

Second watch today... this crapshot has a slow burn and more than one watch is needed. For 53 seconds of video (subtracting the start and end credit) that is astonishing to me. Well done.

I was definitely expecting this to turn in a more meta direction, with the turn to like, the filming crew

Last crapshot that was this dense with different gags was The Tape, I hope you can keep 'em going. That's not to say I don't like crapshots that are just one gag, New Diet was also great.

I'm pleased by the amount of other people concerned for James due to his absence as a cop

Hey! So! This is actually an interesting psychological quirk of the human brain. Our brain often uses context to remember things, and so the act of physically walking through a door into what we consider another seperate space, can trigger our brains to dump whatever we were previously thinking in our short term memory. The best way to counter this, if you suffer from it a lot, is to make sure you are thinking about the thing AS you pass through the doorway, that way it will remain in your short term memory intact. This is called the Doorway Effect, if anyone wants to look it up.
