It would be great if you were to show the answers to homework in the following video, so for example the homework answers for Union operation could be shown in the beginning of Set difference operation.

It looks like results of both expressions are gonna be the same. But second expression should give intermediary Cartesian table of 4 rows when first expression should give 8 rows. Probably the second method would be preferable from the perspective of memory utilization, but not sure about processor time. :)

if we consider instructor and course relation ans - π name,course_ID( σ instructor.Dept_name = course.Dept_name (σ instructor.Dept_name="Physics"( INSTRUCTOR X COURSE ))) It may be wrong.

How about we do an ^ operation (AND) Pi name,course_id( select dept_name='physics' ^ Instructor.Id=Teaches.Id(INSTRUCTOR X TEACHES))

For the example, I can get the same output by 1st selecting where Teacher ID = Instructor ID, and then select by Department = Physics. Wanna ask if in general, do you always get the same output if you select by Condition A, then select by Condition B, as compared to if you select by Condition B, then select by Condition A?
