kelsey this is genuinely such a good podcast already!! i’m not usually a podcast person but i love the structure you have with circle time and all the little segments. it’s really creative and really you! you’re bringing a lot to a space that people sometimes treat as an aside and don’t put a lot of effort into. also the theme song is incredible lol, your perfect balance of sincerity and self-awareness. i just love the podcast so much already and im so excited to see where you take it💞💞
ok you explained my feelings on sad music so well. I've never known how to put it into words really, but u are so right that being transported back to a time where you felt those emotions is just so amazing
a neurodivergent take on cats and dogs: i struggle with sensory processing, and as much as i love them, dogs can really set off those triggers. sometimes it's the way their fur feels, im hyper sensitive to sounds so loud barking really hurts my ears, sometimes their smells are just a bit too much, so i just naturally get anxious around them because i know no matter what i do or how much i like them, there's a good chance their going to cause me some mental struggles cats have always been easier. again with the sound sensitivity, i love the noises they make, i love the way purring and their fur feel, how soft and gentle they are. for weather i find it so hard to choose! i love cooler season like autumn and winter because of the pretty leaves, snow, holidays, coziness, etc but i also adore summer and spring time because i love flowers, being outside, the sunshine, swimming, all the cool down treats, especially snow cones so it's hard to pick!
This has to be my new favorite thing, when I'm stressed I put on circle time and I just listen to Kelsey, bc her voice is so soothing and it really is like sitting down and chatting with a friend after a long day
I also get so nervous when I see a friend I have not seen for a while or meet a new person.But after everything is said it feels so good to be around people and get out
I the same experience with my first kitten. He was very playful and EVERYWHERE. He just loved to climb the curtains or be somewhere higher up like the cabinets or hiding in the lamp; he would just be everywhere.

I love thisss!!!! Why I love post Malone’s music so muchhh! Perfectly sad with some like “party songs” I just saw him live for the second time last night! There is seriously nothing like screaming a song you love and connect with the artist like right in front of you💕 How exciting to be planning a wedding! I’m 28 and I’ve been to a few weddings and helped plan 1-2 of them and my control freak really shines😂 I just love planning things in general! Oooo Pete and Kim I feel like the real reason they broke it off was he really wanted kids and she was just not down with all her issues with not being able to give birth! Cats vs dogs: I’m more of a dog person but I’m not opposed to cats , I just don’t typically meet a ton of cats who I vibe with whereas it’s easier to vibe with dogs Seasons: I used to say that summer was my favorite, and it kind of still is, but also I’ve been trying to just appreciate every season as it comes because there’s special things in each one Like spring you get to see all the new plants and animals that come out, summer there’s so many fun outdoor things to do and I love a good summer beach day, fall has the leaves and coziness and then winter has Christmas and every once in a while some snow

Cat mom: Spray bottles: spray them when they get on any counters. I mean the squirt tf out of them setting. Direct hit. Then when they hate that enough, you come yell “PSSSSSSST” when they’re about to do something wrong. Then occasionally just spray them when you can when they do the wrong thing. Give it two months of work and then you’re good forever. Also after that works, then counter foil works.
You were joking about people dying to know your thoughts on seasons, but I can tell you, I completely was I am very passionate about which seasons are the best 😌
i love you but you freaking out about your cat falling off the stairs is so funny. they’re fine? it’s literally a cat girl they almost always land on their feet and are able to jump like 6 times their own height 🤣 like yeah, Ham was probably like wtf just happened but she ain’t gonna break a leg that easily
As a lifelong cat owner they might not ever respond to their names lmaoo but you can try. My cats 100% know their names but they are too stubborn to actually acknowledge when you’re speaking to them
Hey Kelsey!! Please check out Jackson Galaxy videos. You cannot punish cats because they connect your negative reaction to strain in your relationship with you. They will continue the bad behavior when you are gone so punishments don't work. Cats are consent animals so they will do what they want and you cannot force them to do anything. Look into clicker training and to reverse negative behavior redirect it to a positive insentive. There are a ton of cat behaviorist that will help you a ton!!
