That is right. So it is important to not "live in the headspace" all our life. Consciousness is a lot more than just "in the head". It is in the heart and the hara (the area just below the bellybutton) too. So it is important to center our awareness in those areas as well.

What you know or the act of knowing is the trap that our consciousness gets into and gets entangled with. Once you see this movement you will discover how this act of knowing (identification) creates sense of limited individual self and leads to insecurity, fear, and desire for comfort and security. Once it’s seen it gets easier to drop the identification easily effortlessly. What’s left is pure awareness empty of knowing (identification) empty of things you can call it nothingness but there is awareness which is singular without division and boundless. This is so simple and direct that analytical mind always misses it because minds methods use division to understand anything.The mind is always ABOUT SOMETHING where as in awareness there is no ABOUT just pure awareness without identification. You don’t know what you are aware of in this pure state. It’s empty of all phenomenon that’s why it’s called emptiness and nothingness. It’s full of its own essence.

I find folk spirituality so refreshing relative to how institutions have co-opted these insights. Even academicia, which I find fascinating, can easily get lost in the sauce. Technical language is greatly appreciated, like Lacanian psychoanalysis for example, but at a certain point what matters most is how we embody truth and express love.

@@sundeep18that's fair! though I doubt that without labels there would be less conflict. Language and its differentiation/integration ala identity processes is pretty important to our psychological development and maturation.

@@lukedmoss oh no...that's not what I meant. There have to be labels to function as a society but it's the understanding and the recognition that they're just labels and thereby not identifying with or getting attached to any of them is what breaks conflict and sets you free. Thought causes conflict. Most of the time through identifying and attaching with something. Once you attach yourself to the labels you start to see a fragmented world which then brings about conflict. So In a way .... Indirectly Labelling causes conflict.

@@sundeep18 thanks for clarifying! I agree.. It's hard to let things be when we feel they have to make explicit sense or need to exist beyond change. Sometimes labels can magnify problems, other times they can illuminate solutions - but usually in the latter case it is because of what they point to, not the label itself. Hopefully that's a more accurate summation and continuation of your point. (:

I am thinking about eye surgery which is 99% without complications in my hospital. I was just searching for troublw and saw alot of horror stories. Now im scared and if something go like that. I sleep all day and i have nightmares. But it is in my minfd just. Nobody knows what could happen. Can i contact you?

but I do feel dizzy in the present moment and being dizzy scares me - makes me very anxious. it's not coming from the mind, it's really happening. how can I surrender to feeling bad in the present moment?

It's funny how everything becomes SO EASY to see through after going through the awakening process. Earlier in January I awakened for the first time. I used to read and listen to a lot of spiritual books for over 10 years BUT nothing hits you like that first time YOU GET IT. The first time you understand who "I" am vs "Me" Oh ok so I'm not my name and anything associated with this acting character. I'm just observing the life of this character. Then you realize you can only really observe your life in the present..... Anything else is subjective thoughts. Then you start to see things like guilt vs fear. Then you start to see the thought patterns ... gradually the attachments start to fall away ... Then another Awakening that happens is you start to see the whole thing as one thing. You start to realize nothing is wrong with you really... You don't have problems to fix. You start to see ppl functioning from the stories in their head. OH THE DRAMA!! Your emotions don't swing like a pendulum anymore. In fact I'm at a stage where i don't feel much exceot for being in Awe. Just enormity of the whole thing being one and the ability to see that so clearly... It's jaw dropping. Of course it mostly happens when I'm alone in s park like you are........ Somewhere in nature. Its funny coz conflict is conditioned into us by imperfect, immature parents (kids) in their 20's and then society and education etc ... It all starts at "A for Apple, B for ball. Then you go through all this siffering and searching for answers... Watching videos and reading book after book Just to understand this one thing NO NO NO .....thats not actually an apple 😂😂😂😂😂😂 The universe has a sense of humor i tell you

Good message, but… everything external to us is not neutral. We do live in an actual physical world where there are real threats, and real pleasures. We are not a mind only. A tiger running at a person is not neutral. It is a real threat and the mind responds faster than thoughts can be created. Only about 10% of what the mind does manifests as conscious thought. Our minds and bodies are built specifically to respond to external threats. A child trapped in an abusive home is not having a neutral experience. The child’s unconscious mind will adapt (maladapt) to the environment by going into survival mode and shutting down, escaping into fantasy, or any one of many strategies. I love your videos but we truly are connected to this very real world. The world around us is not totally neutral, but I do understand the point you are trying to make. Your videos are great. I enjoy watching them.

Although what you say is true, the hardest aspect of this experience is the illusion of time. I don't know why certain people have the experiences they do, but I do know everything will never be rainbows and roses as the dualistic nature of this reality is created through balance. One of the hardest things is to explain to someone these type of teachings if they haven't had an experience to open the door to begin with. It's like Glenda told Dorothy, "You've always had the power to go home, but if I told you, you wouldn't have believed me and had to experience it for yourself." Dorothy now knows should she ever go looking for her hearts desires she'll look no further than her own backyard (within). Nothing that seems extreme or fanciful will ever relate if one hasn't had a glimpse into the experience. That's why there's no skipping steps or bypassing as the experience needed to progress will never present itself. There's no one size fits all and everything is not for everybody as those that have already passed on have shown. I think so many are looking for that first door to open on this awareness and for most it never will but for many it will unlock and be ignored as coincidence. No one can tell you what's on the other side as one has to truly experience it for themselves as it will be unique to them. We are constantly in a state of distraction, some of which we have created and enjoy but a distraction nevertheless. The days of becoming a monk or going into the wilderness is not realistic in modern day so one must factor in all the variables in one's life into the process. Depending on what one is willing to lose, those things that are not factored in will eventually not fit into the experiences you will have which adds to the confusion. Everything we need is inside to navigate the outside but as soon as we get here the outside dictates the inside and it can take a lifetime to return to that state. Sounds like a bunch of word salad but only you know what you're willing to go through and sacrifice and that will look different from someone else. The beginning is the easy part, just wait until the program fights back and it's not always physical as our mental state is where it can do the most damage. Fear, deception, past trauma etc.....these things will rear their ugly heads and either we move passed it or remain stagnate. It was said in a movie, "Life is tough, that's the default setting" and if we're not leveling up than what are we doing? Sorry about all that as I'm sure no one has read all that so if it doesn't resonate, no harm no foul. Be mindful and live in the present and remember a coincidence is just an experience waiting to unfold but it's our choices that make that happen. God (Universe, Higher-self, interpretation varies) makes himself available to everyone, but not everyone makes themselves available to God! Eventually you'll no longer have to move mountains because the mountains will already know to move! Good Luck! 🙏❤🙏

The example you gave about sitting in the forest without judging anything is useful to ask my question.... Lets say you site there observing everything without judging. Now a big family passes by and they dump a big pile of litter on the ground. What do you do and why? You know that what they do is harmful, so how is it possible to just sit there and watch it without judgment? Would you not talk to them and explain that what they are doing is destructive for nature? You would only recognise that if you knew the difference between good and bad. If you would see all as neutral then there is no point to ever improve anything. One would not even be motivated to meditate or grow. I am trying to comprehend the good and bad sides of nonduality and if it would really serve us.

Idk about this whole everything is neutral. Our lovely planet has to endure quite some abuse and destructive treatment. I do not see how I could reframe the behaviour of those who do that as neutral and doubt if that would even be helpful. It is actually that because some of us see and acknowldge the difference between good and evil, that they recognise the destruction as something that is bad and they are motivated to take action and plant new trees and do other awesome things like living more conciously and improve the produce cycle into a less toxic one. How would you think it would be if everybody would be neutral in regards to this topic?

From what I gather is the scope of this video, I imagine that the practise of mindfulness affords us the pause necessary to effect a better course of action or solutions to follow in order for us to do the right thing, whatever the scenario. Life happens. We are powerless over other people and events, but we hold onto these events and our minds are fantastic story writers and inventors of scenarios with its roots grounded in fear. I'm not saying that bad things won't stop happening, but how many times have you imagined bad things happening that never happened? And if they do happen or are happening such as say bullying which is often ongoing, rather than worrying about it could offer us the right way to go about addressing the issue as opposed to feeding the fear surrounding it. I think this video is about fostering the best mindset possible for us to acknowledge life events, accepting life events (doesn't mean we have to like them), clearing the mind from the fog of life that obscures the sunshine of happiness (which is always there, just obscured) and moving on; just a little bit freer than it was. And like anything in life, to become good at it means we have to practise it.
