Your apartment is almost a copy of my previous apartment! Well at least the kitchen looks so similar and the oven is the same! Funny how they build these condos all the same nowadays. Anyways when I lived in a condo, my back was hurting, it was chronic sciatica for years, and I thought I just had to live with it. (My job was part sitting and part lifting things) The only thing that made it better was a minimum 1 hour walk! But that’s not feasible every day. THEN I moved into a house and I started gardening and being a lot more “active “ as in cleaning a 3 times bigger space, being outside more, etc. My back pain went away! It’s a miracle. (I am 30 y.o btw) so MY BIGGEST ADVICE FOR BACK PAIN IS THIS ONE EXERCISE: go on your knees and pretend you are planting a flower in the dirt, go side to side with ur arms, etc and while staying on knees turn your torso, go up and down with arms and torso. Every other day for 10 mins should make any back pain go away if u mostly sit for work.

I'm studying my last exams of my degree (I'm studying last year of med school), and I love sculpting and drawing at nights. Sometimes is really hard to make time for my hobbies because I'm very tired, but watching you, push me to keep doing this little things I love. Thank you so so much. Mostly I feel burnt out, like you mentioned, with long breaks because for me the lack of schedule really disrupts my energy throughout the day

Hello! I have a tip for the mat of your plotter to make the stickers, when it is very new it tends to break the sheets, because the glue is very strong, what I do is I pass it several times with my hands to remove the extra stickiness, the natural fat from the skin removes that excess stickiness and then it does not break the sheets anymore, once is enough, then wash your hands! ❤️ I hope it helps and take breaks for your pain! Looks like your hard work is paying off! WRT oven curing clay. Typically polymer clay can be cured in the oven for a longer time than the package states (see Polymer Clay Tutor). It's better to cure at the clay of the highest temp, otherwise it may crumble as it hasn't properly cured after you have made it. You are right about not wanting to burn it as the fumes are not good to breathe. I think I read about baking mixed clays at Blue Bottle Tree. You might experiment, certainly. In your case you have very thick pieces, so it might be better to do a lower temp for a longer baketime. You might also consider getting a toaster oven with a convection fan for even heating. I love that you have created a following with your charming little characters. Also love the kitties. Missed the name of the B&W cat. Peyton is very sweet and loving towards you. Cheers! 💖

There is NOTHING wrong with Sculpey 3! I hate it when people say this!! I use it for making jewelry, along with all the other clays. The reason it's not recommended for jewelry is because it will snap when bent, and the other clays just bend. BUT if you put resin on it, WHICH YOU DO, then the clay won't bend!
