I've seen a lot of comments saying that they want no-talking videos or talking videos. Just wanted to let you know that I'm here for whatever you create, and I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me haha. Not saying that people who prefer a specific type won't be here for anything you create, I just thought it might be nice to hear this.
as much as I love no talking videos I definitely do miss your voice narration haha still super relaxing regardless, i'm sure looking forward to it! hope you are having a nice week 😊 omg I loved the little wiggles and things from the pieces too haha the capturing sounds really are especially a u t h o r a t i v e without narration !
man your videos are just so nice, I'm looking forward to every one of them. I watch em every morning after you release one, they're a great calm way to start the day.
Great vid :) I also watched the openings vid and the vid about the Sicilian Defense the other day. I really enjoy your vids because I love ASMR and Chess. Never expected to find a channel that combines chess and ASMR. This is really an awesome channel and a hidden gem on YT! Keep going man!!
Amazing. Don't get me wrong, I like hearing your voice, but damn its kinda nice to just hear the pieces clacking and sliding on the board w/o much explanation or analysis. The small hand gestures and tapping (which almost emulate applause/building tension for spectators) sell the mood of the match very well.
I'm not great at chess so I usually need commentary to follow along with these videos, but you do such a great job explaining things just with your hands too. I really enjoy these videos, thanks for making them. When this channel reaches 1m I'll be all like I knew this channel before it was 100k haha.
This is by far my favourite video on your channel; particularly love the way you "animated" the pieces. I'd also like to thank you on the specific choice of games you picked for the video, as they're all pure magic.
A lot of people don’t get how it’s much more satisfying picking up and then putting down the pieces, it sounds a lot better compared to a cloth being rubbed in wood
I literally found your channel yesterday but I’m already in love with the content, I really want to get better at chess and this is a great way to make my mind work, thank you
Players kept and still do keep notebooks/journals with all their games so they can analyze them later and also for lots of popular games they would get published in newspapers using journalists who would write the game in notation so lots of people were able to see the exact game
Greco wrote a book where he explained every move. The book is preserved to this day. You can find more information in my other video about hime here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4oZ_rSNeG2Y.html
No talking videos aren’t my personal favorite (this one was still great) but I know that for lots of people they are and not a lot of channels try to make content for both sides of that so it’s cool that you always have content for different types of people, much respect
Ngl. Your commentary and voice make the game feel easier relaxing. This is a really nice change of pace tho thank you. PS: Loved how you moved the pieces like puppets haha
Even without voice, just watching a chess game go is so satisfying and relaxing! Could you think of making a vid about the London system in the future? I think it's a fun one to explore as it has a lot of variations
yes I am interested in doing a video on the london, but I haven't played it myself so I need to learn a lot before I can make a good video. It will probably come at some point though!
I loved the sounds of you sliding around the pieces, however I found the clacking from the takes superbly unrelaxing, the tapping came in clutch though.
Really love the content on this channel, one thing I would like to point out for constructive criticism: it sounds like your microphone is mounted to the same table you are playing on and certain movements causes a metallic sound because the microphone is slightly shaking. To me it's distracting from the ASMR, but then again it might give others tingles, so that's just my opinion. Regarldess, keep up the great work! :)
oh they played alright... Tal defeated Botvinnik in a world championship match and there are some legendary games there. One of them will show up on the channel sooner or later.
Hey i like your videos and i have got an idea. Maybe it would be interesting if you make a video about the worst games the chess world champions played, or where they lost to an underdog. Would be funny i guess
When you make these kinds of videos you should add subtitles of the moves played i know it can be a lot of work but if you could do that it would be perfect thanks for the video anyway!
Love your channel, man. But I didn’t understand most of these games! Why did the white player concede in the second game? He seemed to have a far better position than his opponent.
in the second game black is up material black: Queen (9) + rook (5) + 6 pawns (6) = 20 points white: rook (5) + rook (5) + knight (3) + 5 pawns (5) = 17 points Adding to this white's king is weak, black still has an attack and white has no counterplay whatsoever. Black's king is super safe, his pawn-structure is rock solid and he has no haning pieces or weaknesses.
God I love the last dragon game Anand played really well, but Kasparov won anyway. This goes to show just how powerful the dragon can be in the right hands.
