I think you're finding what other youtubers find -- it's a lot of work, and you get tired and feel pressed to keep finding content. Starting is one thing. Continuing without repeating yourself is another. So yes, take the summer off, and we'll still be here! And thank you anyway.

Yes Jen your life sounds very busy. I am retired & I know what you mean. The “ real job” does take a lot as it is the must in life until retirement, then the pace of life is delicious in this new chapter of life. Enjoy your summer & this vacation. Mr. Beast makes 2 videos a month. You did it, you are monetized, congratulations. Your videos have content people want, they add value. I have yet to watch one of your Wednesday videos, (I will) like you I'm on my own journey, but I'm still in the pre January 1st stage... I'm just starting to post and my vids suck...lol. I'm an older solo, too. One of the things I've recently taken up is painting. I'm terrible at it but it's meditative and not having the pressure of thinking I have to make something that pleases other people is very pleasant. That said, I'm going to try doing a real portrait. On the off-chance that I get a recognizable likeness, would you be comfortable with it if I tried painting a portrait of you? Entirely ok to say no. I just feel like you own your face and you should have a say if someone uses your image so I don't feel comfortable going ahead without asking.

Hi Jen, I'm no youtuber but from what I've heard it can be hard to come back from a break - the 'algorithm' makes it hard. What I suggest is that you outsource the editing for your Sunday walking videos. Should be easy to find someone as it's a common thing it seems, I even see people offering their services in the comments section of some RU-vid videos.

Ah, but most RU-vidrs only make one video per week, while I've been doing 2! And the Sunday videos are not related at all to the Wednesday videos, so I think I'll be ok!
