@@CityWander only a five minute drive from catalina. Have you ever checked out oracle state park or honeybee park in oro valley

No - I've actually never been to those parks...I'll have to check them out. I've never heard of Honeybee Park, strangely.

I was just about to ask where this desert was, but I read your answer in another comment. I'm not a fan of hot, dry country, but after walking these trails with you, I've had a change of heart. The scenery is breathtaking, it truly is beautiful. Thank you so much.

Like swamplands, deserts aren't for everyone, but I believe they both have their own unique beauty. Glad I live in a country where I can experience both.
