I see pretty much that same comment in every one of these old commercials videos. Saturday morning cartoons and a bowl of tasty cereal. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who remembers doing that. It's even fun to relive it from time to time----those old shows are still around, and so's my fave cereal. It doesn't feel the same, but it's close enough, and that's good.

Yes: Relaxing commercials, that actually SOLD you stuff...Unlike certain insurance commercials we could mention. And on the pitch that you were smart enough to probably actually might LIKE the product if you bought it, but not go into degradingly cutesy-quirky average-idiot enjoyment that the snarky-Millennial pitchman can hiply snicker at, unlike big overweight women who go into goofy raptures over laundry detergent and online car buying.

In the 80's, and 90's my parents worked a lot, so I often stayed with my grandparents who did not have cable, but they had a kickass roof antenna attached to their main TV in the den, and the TV in their back sunroom that was able to pick up WTBS Atlanta, so I watched a lot of TBS programming growing up on that 19in GE fake wood TV with fake silver dials in the sunroom(no remote, so had to get up from the green/brown late 70's swivel corduroy rocker to change the channel lol), including wrestling with legends like Ric Flair, and Sting, so thanks again for the memories Dave!! 👍👍

Love these collections. 1987 was my senior year in HS. NEED HELP trying to recall a commercial that had the jingle "I luvva, luvva, luvva you!" It aired in Seattle in the end of the 80s, but I cannot remember what it was for. Neither can my brother or sister, but we remember the jingle. We've been trying to find it, hoping it would pop up in one of these collections but so far, I've never seen it. Not sure if it was a local thing, but if anyone remembers it please solve the mystery for us. I'll give you two Scooby snacks.

I’m going to develop a device that hooks to any TV that will automatically replace todays commercials with these. You know the ones we have now that are disgusting and vile. Women talking about pooping and songs about their pubic hair. Every commercial we have now tries to shock, gross you out or lecture you some way. The 80’s were the best of everything.

So who thought it was a good idea to have a woman making orgasm noises while eating an Oreo in a commercial? Oh, right, the 80's.

Only in the 80s could they take muscle cars and turn them into affordable compact sedans 🤷‍♂️🤣
