It kind of worked! I want to paint a New Year's card for my neighbors. It's always interesting what turns out better than I thought. Here, so far, it's the branch and legs. Also, I love seeing it "improve" as it continues to dry. Happy with my time doing this. I AM enjoying ART!

You call that brush small? It looks huge to me. I don’t know how you get such tiny lines with such a large brush. Beautiful painting, by the way.

it looks like a Willow tit ? nice painting, looks simple but it is not. I have birdwatchers in my family and they are very sensitive to any artistic deviation vs. the true bird...
