Yes! I am a serial mixing chart painter. It is a low-commitment activity (ai list not be inspired😊) that is very relaxing. Also, it is the best way to get to know colours, which prevents surprises when putting paint to paper. It is also great to realize that you don't need to buy so many colours, as 12 will give you so many options already. Thanks Leslie

So we have a handy record and quick way of knowing what each one does... line width, tip point, springiness, water load,... etc. I bought a swatches book from Amazon after seeing it here demonstrated on YT and thought why can’t they make something like this for our brushes...? 🤔 Asking YOU because You’re one of the channels I follow that would know the most about this topic. 💖
I do have certain things I do to get to know brushes. Try out the tip and the side, see how long the water stays, etc. I’ll add it to my list of future video topics. Great idea! ❤
I’ve created a chart mixing Lemon Yellow Deep with different reds & different blues, but I love your idea of doing it one on one with each color in your palette. Would you mind listing the selected colors in your palette? At first I thought I was wasting time making color charts & creating swatches or making an excuse not to paint, but I’m learning so much about mixing that it’s a blessing! I have the colours I use listed in several videos (check the “Show&Tell” and “Watercolour Tips” playlists. I often change it up a little but always have a cool and warm of each primary and a few earth colours. Some favourites are: bismuth yellow, cad yellow pale, cad red, permanent alizarin crimson, phthalo blue, French ultramarine, burnt sienna or transparsnt yellow oxide, raw sienna and yellow ochre. 😊
Those swatches can help in the long run but I've avoided it for so long since I feel like it's wasting paint. Though, I'll give it a shot since it can help me paint better in terms of color range

I really enjoy your videos. You take us outside and paint. You instruct us. You are quite a mystery lady. I wish along with your perfect instructions that you would get more personal. Example: express your feelings. Like 👍 got up this morning and couldn’t wait to use my new paint or brush or fav coffee. Then tell us why you want to paint this scene. Your art has passion in it. So show us your passion. Make- believe we are your best friend instead of your students. Tell us your thots and see your friends come out of the closet and explode your likes. We want to know you. You see Scott Sava he has a lot of ppl. It’s because he is so real and to the heart. You are too. But I’m a woman and I know you hold back mystery lady. I want to see more of you. I then can tell my friends that you are my close friend online artist. Hope I didn’t offend you. I see more than what you give us. We are all broken and have deep hurts. Ignore them and let your light shine thru. Remember? This little light of mine I’m going to let it shine!

I’m sure you’re correct. When I share more in-depth posts on Tiktok they are usually well received. I’ll have a think about how I can do that and still deliver the sort of content I feel compelled to make.
