Relearning to Write: 'In Other Words' (In Altre Parole) by Jhumpa Lahiri 

Episode 18: I reflect on my move to Seville, Spain, initially planning a short stay but eventually settling down, inspired by the woman I'd met and the family we'd started. I describe a pivotal moment when my son was born, motivating me to finally become deft, not just fluent in Spanish. This led me to writing in the language, and eventually releasing a memoir in Spain. Because of all this, Jhumpa Lahiri's transition to writing in Italian and her first book in that language, 'In Other Words' (In Altre Parole) were especially relatable to me.
