Weird and cool. I haven't seen anybody break up the notes like that. It was very inconsistent and kept me on my toes. I definitely like the way it goes. :)
thanks! release cut piano is very popular in certain genres of music but it’s very easy to make if you have access to a piano soundfont. if you turn release down all the way to 0 (sometimes 0.1 since it can make a popping sound) it makes this choppy instrument. let me know if you’d want to hear more of it :)
Thank you! It depends what software/app you’re using to make it honestly. I do have some general tips you might want to use. I’m pretty beginner too, so take this stuff with a grain of salt: -a song doesn’t have to be complicated with lots of instruments and fancy chords and time signatures to sound good. Any simple song could change someone or invoke feeling as long as it has the right tune. -whenever you start making something, always aim to practice. Just because you’ve started something doesn’t mean you have to make it a full song. -find chord progressions to mess around with and practice melody making. -get feedback from others.
