Love this song. I've always viewed this song as a devastate to create journey. The first third of the song is just chaos and destruction and then silence... The remnants come together to create Saul Williams comes through and sows the seeds for a new future in a calm state of creation. . Lyrics Born, Gift of Gab and the final third is just the vibe of the funky future that was created from chaos..... No I'm not high.

The lyrics are so timeless. I just heard this song on 12/30/19 and was shocked it came out in 2002. This song is nothing short of a masterpiece.

Possibly the best Blackalicious track ever - and that says a lot. Granted, Saul Williams has the depth here, but almost 17 years later, I can't listen to this record unless it's from start to finish - and this is a killer last "real" track for a record.

Part 2 still gives me literal, actual goosebumps.
