Hi Ajay, thank you for your question. it depends on the platform: for the Jira Data center, all the data of the add-on is stored in the Jira database that is hosted by clients' premises. As result, no data is sent outside the organization. For the Cloud version, Jira data stays on Atlassian premises and extra data (like packages, releases, milestones, release notes, environment, etc) is stored in our data center. We do not store any sensitive data. Also, we are part of Atlassian security programs: Bug bounty (when at least 200 security investigators are searching for vulnerabilities and we are fixing them) and Fortified when Atlassian reviews our security policies and processes and we provide extra evidence and check for application security and high availability.
Hi Giju, thank you for your feedback. I would suggest checking the documentation pagereleasemanagement.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RMC/pages/740917249/Tags+for+packages+and+versions?search_id=6c9d9022-c6e0-43e0-8c96-97313c360f97 . Also, we are happy to have a short call in case you will have any questions. Thanks, Release management team.
Yes, this roadmap is part of Release management. The main difference from Advanced Roadmap is that this roadmap is focused on Releases (fixVersions, Sprints, Epics, Virtual versions, and combinations of all of them), and releasing them from lower to higher environments. Release management works great together with Advanced Roadmaps as Advanced Roadmap could be more focused on creating a product, and Release management on completing the routine of getting it released (which is especially important in enterprise or in regulated environments ). This resonates with the Agile principle: "Measure your progress by working software" and working software will appear when it will be released.
