Release of New Hymnbook Begins with First Wave of 13 Songs 

I am so happy that Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing is returning to the new hymnbook!

Doctrine and Covenants section 25, verse 12 says, "The song of the righteous is a prayer unto me sayeth the Lord". I am ecstatic to be able to pray all day!

Yes! At last new sacred Hymns are coming! The new music for church will bring a variety of lovely tunes and heartfelt messages! Thank you for all the wonderful work all of you have put in. It will surely enhance our meetings and everyday lives. 😊

I'm a very happy convert to the church and our hymns truly speak to my soul. It is amazing to hear that 17,000 submissions for new hymns were made!

I just looked at the new hymns on the app. I'm overjoyed!!!!!!!! Ive been a ward organist for over 30 years. Im so looking forward to playing these for the prelude. But, I'll need a box of Kleenex nearby.

I have been waiting for this! I am so excited to sing these new additions as we worship God at church and at home.

Just listened to them on the sacred music app! They are so beautiful and inspiring. Surely the Lord has blessed our members with increased talents and guided the selectors of these hymns in order to bless us with more opportunities to feel the Spirit to inspire and encourage us for the rough road that lies between us and the Lord’s second coming.

I’ve already experienced the incredible power in these new hymns!! Thank the Lord’s kindness and goodness 😭

I particularly like the new Sacrament hymns. I imagine "Bread of Life, Living Water" going well in congregations where I served my mission in the Caribbean.

May we all raise our voices in praise and gratefulness.

I just listened to all 13 new hymns and all I can say is wow they are all So powerful and each one has a messages about the gospel excited to see all of these batches of new hymns come out Hopefully in our ward we will sing one of them this Sunday.

What a blessing from God through so many of our faithful brothers and sisters worldwide!

Please, play and sing them at the recommended tempo!

I'm excited, but I know most of the hymn numbers by heart. It's going to be great, though.

The songs look great! I noticed that all of the vocal recordings are just of soloists, though not all of the songs are unison/solos. Will there be updates in the future with with vocal recordings with all parts, and maybe options to listen to individual parts to help with learning these new hymns?

I admit I am excited about this, but will this be any different than any Sunday when the conductor puts up a song we don't know, and I sit there and sort of hum along? I hope we have training on these songs, some sort of videos for the membership of the church who aren't musically inclined.

Where do you find those new hymns? When I go the the church app, and then go to Hynms, it doesn't show me "new Hynms'' So how do you find them?
