The fitting in the tank was too high so I had to tap into the 2 inch gray water drain line. But that worked better because I could put a screen in the big pipe to keep trash out of the valve. This video shows the strainer that can be installed but it would have to be cleaned frequently. Putting the strainer in the 2 inch drain pipe would just deflect any trash father down the big pipe and there is no need for a manual valve to do a cleanout.
