This gameplay tutorial for Mechwarrior Online shows you how to utilize your Mech to it's best extent. I'll give you a rundown of the build and what it is made for and show you the actual combat role in two games on the battlefield.
Mechwarrior Online is a competitive first person shooter where you build and pilot massive Mechs and prove yourself on the battlefield. The game is based on the Battletech franchise, which originally was a science fiction tabletop game in the 80s. Big part of the game is configuring your loadout and find the best match of missile, ballistic and energy weapons for your playstyle. The weapon variety ranges from devastating autocannons over particle projectors to deadly arrays of laser beams. On the battlefield your team of 12 Mechwarriors fight the enemies on rather small arena-type maps. Teamwork is crucial here because a single Mech does not survive long if it steps in front a full firing line. Communication and teamwork is key on your journey to glory and victory.

I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

Contrary to some, I’m really glad to see you back on MWO so much. I really wanted to enjoy playing MW5, but even with some of the updates and DLC it just hasn’t really grabbed me like I’d hoped. MWO is a constant for me so I’m delighted to see you back in it.

Damn, that first game has some salty players haha That said though, this build looks like a good fire support glass cannon build, especially if you stay right behind the front liners or at the flanks, where you could get constant dps without getting peppered, like this one 15:36.

You should revisit the BJ-A. It got some quirk buffs, and the Arrow with 6LMGs and 2LXPLs is really stong right now.

So good to have the MWO daily doses back! I also enjoyed the last stream a lot, it was almost like high school when you got together with friends and took turns playing some game on the PC, hope to get another one soon!

BJ-1X has been my most consistent performer for a long time. I run it with 8 standard mediums.

Due to how mech profile and weapon mounts, I find Blackjacks are better for peeking over the top rather than side peeking, so I often have a few jumpjets on my Blackjack.

As a Blackjack main (primarily the BJ-1 and BJ-3) my friend has kept urging me to try out the BJ-1X. You made it look so fun in this video so i just might finally have to try it out!

It's nice to see these. The Charger's gotten buffs recently with the 3K getting laser HSL+2. Been funning running with 4 BLasers though I saw someone run it with LXPLs. Nice work on these matches!

Hey Baradul, I know you're probably not going to see this but, I am using the Haven Kendrick's Soundpack and mine seems to not like any of the new weapons added recently. Wondering how you fixed this or if you just uninstalled it. Hopefully I can find some help with this. Thanks!

Check to see if Haven has an updated pack for download. Most creators have updated theirs to include all of the new weapon systems. I use JGx Data’s pack.

Yeah...I run this with the alternate that you showed and it is so damn strong. With the light engine you can stay in the fight a bit longer.

Same here, also use the torso two lasers in a separate weapons group when I get hot, they don’t run up the heat while I move into cover to cool off.

I like running 8 ERML on that boy. 40 damage at a very nice range. Run a light 285 and Light Ferro, and 7 extra double heat sinks. XPL work best on mechs that are overlooked. If you aren't being prioritized, then you can get away with an awful lot. :D By the way, did you notice that there was 200MRM split between the Marauder and the Marauder II in that second match? They must have just been sandblasting that whole time.

love this idea, but with largest engine, 6 x med pulse in arms, and stuff with heat sinks. fast and manageable heat. 8 xmpl is too toasty. oh yes, the holiday warhorn makes it the absolute bomb!

-35.5% heat with skills and quirks and the weapon still runs too hot and forces you to coolshot whenever you have face time. The Cauldron are such idiots. They're so incompetent at balancing weapons.

I have to be honest, I feel you have overdosed on MWO lately. While obviously it's your content to create as you wish, personally I feel getting back into MWO was the worst thing that's happened to your channel in the last year. But of course I see the numbers so in a minority I guess lol. MWO is SO boring to me I haven't watched a single one of your streams or videos on it all the way to the end, whereas I devour your MW5 and RT content and enjoy them so much, especially the long RT missions! Thanks for the content I do devour and enjoy Bara!
