The serratus anterior muscle causes long-lasting chest pain, armpit pain and underarm pain, sometimes identified as shoulder blade pain.
The reason why relieving serratus anterior pain is so complex is that the muscle is intimately linked to bad posture.
In particular, a posture with round shoulders shortens the serratus anterior. But it will also cause forward head posture and thoracic kyphosis (aka slumped back), therefore neck pain and headaches.
BUT THERE IS A WAY OUT: here is an incredible serratus anterior release exercise. Check out the comment to see what viewers think about this brilliant stretch!
More importantly even: we'll talk about posture correction and ergonomics at the office so that you find a durable solution to this nagging, constant pain.
