Very interesting to get another point of view on the idea of secularism. The fact that religions, societies and political systems are all based on traditions is not emphasized in other philosophies/anthropologies. Thanks for posting this.

What pains me is there were young people on the twin towers.Perhaps they had no communal or religious orientation.Did members of some of Islamic community expressed their even some muted grief? Ch Taylorarle's conceptual tool of instinctive respect for life respect
