The video does not show the exact parameters and names of the components. This is not a tutorial for making shotgun shells, it is a reconstruction of a museum rarity.
If the apocalypse happens, the cartridges will be loaded this way. Attention! This is not a shotgun loading instruction manual, it is a historical reconstruction. Gunpowder is not measured as shown in the video, it must be weighed on a high precision scale.
That’s easily the craziest reloading I’ve ever seen , apart from the Afghan 7.62x39 with black powder, should always weigh the powder charge to ensure consistency
@throwaway3873Yep, some ranges let ya Collect the brass, some dont let ya and they do it so they can sell it and get some money (some ranges are greedy as fuck)
I'm a recovering heroin addict and when I saw the wax melting set up all I could think was I wish I would have had something like that when I was getting high lol
@@sillylungbest of luck and strength to you and mad respect for taking the difficult step towards recovery. I hope your life from here on is long and healthy.
I'm happy my Russian gun enthusiasts have reloading dies and those durable/waterproof brass casings are essential , when living in the wilderness. We have the same dies from company named Lee Loader. I've had Mec shotshell and a RCBS Rock Chucker Press, I still enjoy loading my rifle cartridges by hand, like you do, weighing out the powder to the single grain.
There is a lot of text in Russian in this video.
This will be my favorite stress relieving activity during the apocalypse. Just sitting alone in a basement under a single dim lightbulb while sipping coffee.
@@albertvesker1053It seems based off his advice. That it'll be fine without the varnish as long as the shells aren't exposed to moisture. All the materials used should be kept in a dry place at all times. The varnish is his preventative measure. I'm just going off what he typed. You wouldn't want to be out in the bush in the rain with shells on your person where they could get wet without doing something to negate the chances of moisture getting to the gunpowder. The wax could be enough but i don't know anything about this to be honest first time I've ever seen it. If moisture is an issue I'd just put them in a waterproof container.
