I mean, i pretty sure that the problem its you. You keep searching for weapons, them thats what you get. The majority of US videos for me has nothing to do with guns, so....
My friend got a warning from God. He said "Tell my people I am coming back soon, and read your Word". Here are some verses I recommend reading~ Matthew 7:21-23 Matthew 4:17 Acts 2:17 Joel 2:28 James 2:17-26 Acts 16:31 I recommend writing them down and truly meditating on them. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. -James 1:22-25 Tomorrow isn't promised, BUT, God being a loving and forgiving Father is and always will be, don't wait until later or tomorrow. Gods kingdom is at hand! ❤️
And I have 3 of them😊, one of them unused recently acquired from RUAG ... which I would only give out of my cold, dead hands 😂 Best regards from Switzerland 🇨🇭
I ordered a scopeless K.31 in Feb. 1963 from a catalog that was advertised in a Field & Stream at the barbershop. The cost was around $22 including shipping, and it arrived early March. I used saved allowance and birthday money to buy it for my 11th birthday. A perfectly legal purchase at the time, and the same method used by Lee Harvey to buy his Carcano. My mother insisted on no ammo (I had no idea how to get any) and then my father had it swapped for a .22 cal Marlin Model 60 with a 4x scope after he returned from extended Naval Air Reserve duty. A more suitable starter for a kid, I suppose. But the bolt on that K.31 was really "Space Age" with the ring safety and beer-can charger. I was the only kid on my block who owned a fully functional military weapon, if only for about three weeks.
@@ParaBellaActualyour performance just reinforces why I'd fear the bro with a old surplus rifle than the guy with a 3K AR with 5.11 pants, hat, operator flag, Adidas GSG-9 Gen 1 boots and a crooked High and tight.
My favourite ww2 service rifle. The k31. As a lefty, I appreciate that they made an adaptor for the bolt handle for us. Not to mention that crisp trigger.
I own one of these bad boys-- got into a small bidding war on Gunbroker in 2015 to get it... But the Swiss arms were head and shoulders above practically every other serviced rifle of the era. That trigger in just your average grunt's bolt action! 🤩
My dad owns a K31 and I had the pleasure of firing it on my 17th birthday. Smoothest action I’ve ever felt. It was an absolute joy to hit the range with that thing.
Gorgeous Swiss K31/43 Sniper rifle. Designed by Waffenfabrik Bern, and utterly accurate as per Swiss Military strict specs. Issued by Swiss Military from 1.933 till 1.970. Still actively issued by Sporting Shooters in many locations, though. (I'm still 'chewing my own elbows' for being so STUPID declining a MINT K31 in early 1.990', just because 'ammo waa so rare'. Seller from my Shooting / Collectors Club was roughly ~ $250 bucks).. 😵💫
Habe Jahrelang G96 /11 und K31 geschossen und muss sagen die alten Langgewehre sind für Sportschützen besser einziger Nachteil passen nicht in jeden Tresor oder Waffenkoffer wegen ihrer Länge.
I've got the M1911 which is one of the models prior with a longer barrel. I've only been able to get through about 17-20 rounds before my shoulder hurts. And that's with a custom shaped recoil pad. I also had a gears of war cog laser etched at the rear of the butt stock on both sides. It's pretty slick. I also had better looking bolt finger holds machined instead of the shit brown rubber ones that came with it
I fucking KNEW the comment section would be people questioning Americans and their guns, and fucking Patriots measuring distance in Bald Eagles, cheeseburgers, and freedom. Hell yeah.
It is a Swiss ZFK 31/42 Sniper Rifle. It cost maybe 3k~5k depending on matching serial numbers, condition, completeness, etc. Based on the K31. Like the K31, its very well made, uses grease instead of oil, straight pull is awesome. Sadly GP11 ammo is almost unavailable in the USA but, shoots the best in the Swiss straight pull guns it's designed for. You can still get aftermarket ammo. Predecessor to the ZFK 55 sniper rifle. These will only go up on value.
I'm Swiss, here in Switzerland you can buy one in good condition for ~100chf (~110$) perfect condition for 300-800chf but many people have inherited one from their gramdfather or father. it is a really cool rifle!
@softair3003 Is that the cost for an SFK 31/42 in the video or just a standard K31? I'm looking for the bayonet, leather, "frog"sheath, belt, and mag pouches that would be issued with the K31. Such a great rifle.
@mishimposble the zfk is a little bit more expensive but still cheaper than what you said (in switzerland) for bayonets and stuff it depends on the serial number and the condition ;) you can have a bayonet between 50 - 300.- where are you from?
switzerland landlocked and has a lot im guessing of the worlds gold. any good books or doucmentarys about it all? make great watches, guessing great guns etc too. Everyone compulsory to go to the shooting range yearly? didn't like covid vax mandates when it barely worked and doctors worth their salt should have seen this from the beginning.
Ammo in my state can be shipped to your door, guns have to be shipped to a gun store. I have never had anything stolen but you would just report it to the police
Ammo has to be shipped through through a licensed carrier and as the person above roughly said, guns can only be shipped to businesses or people with FFL licensed.
Yeah, there's a reason why safeties are easy/quick to manipulate. Besides, anybody intelligent enough to be issued one of these isn't gonna ND their foot.
@@amtree4140 for Assault rifle or pistols, you would be right, but this is a sniper. it wouldnt help you if you could disengage the safety in the blink of an eye if an enemy jumps you. you wouldnt have a chance in close range combat with a fucking sniper. the only time you use this is for long or maybe even mid range engagements and you will take a lot of time per shot so theres no problem in taking your time for disengaging the safety.
You know absolutely nothing about real world combat. The person who stated they would most likely leave the safety off is correct but only in areas where a close quarters ambush or “being jumped” as you call it are likely. Often troops will leave poorly designed safeties off or use them in a different manner than intended. Your knowledge is obviously from video games, mine is from decades of research, training and real world experience so don’t bother trying to argue. A bolt gun like this is almost as effective as a pump shotgun in close quarters as far as speed and even the average civilian knows shotguns are great at close range. The video games you play handicap weapons to make your weapon choice part of the game. Guns are horrible in these games in ways they are amazing in real life and good in ways that are absurd. Good news for you is you can study up on real world guns and it will give you some concepts that will improve your gaming skills, that’s also good news for men like me who cringe when we hear young men make claims like you just did.
Not to mention that this rifle immigrated here years ago from Europe and has been struggling to assimilate. We all know that straight(pull) cis rifles are being unfairly persecuted and blamed for everyone's problems.
The most interesting thing to me about this sight is that the range adjustment for the optic is exactly how it's done for iron sights instead of a simple knob like most optics. It's as Swiss as it can get.
It is ZFK 31 somewhat. ZF is for ZielFernrohr (scope), K for Karabiner, 31 was year the basis-weapon was introduced, the somewhat (42?) when this version was introduced. Hard bo get one, expensive bcs rare. Wish I had one... Edit: so yes, it's swiss.
Im gunna share my knowledge because I love these guns and have one of my own. They have the longer rifle variant, the k11 which is most identifiable by the wooden barrel on the bolt. The k31 has the aluminum and is the shorter carbine rifle
@@kadedorsey5038 Not quite. The K11 has the same dimensions as the K31, and the charging handle a hard rubber or bakelite type material. The longer variant is the original Swiss 1911 rifle. All three use the same cartridge and action type. The 1896/11 is an even older version of the long rifle, but has the same straight pull action and also uses the 7.5x55 Swiss.
@@792slayer possible, but with left side mounted scope not so... I use K98 w/o scope and can run it lefthanded no problem, but top mounted scope would be problem for cycling bolt with left hand but still usable for shooting, but if scope would be mounted on left side of gun then would be unusable for me... And on top of all that, my right eye is dominant which causes problems for me when shooting pistol/revolver :S
@@426Torello cross eye dominance does pose a unique set of challenges. They also make a clamp on mount for that gun that goes on the right side of it and mounts a regular scope.
@@792slayer yes, I know, friend uses it in that setup to compete in C&R scoped class... One time using original swedish ammo, he had few points better score with it than best score in open class same distance... And keep in mind that C&R even had limited scope magnification, to 8 or 10x max, I don't remember any more...
My grandfather fought in WW2 and 3 uncles in the Vietnam war. They were boys from the country and ended up being some of the bravest men in the military. My grandfather received so many medals I don't even know the number (he passed away in 2005) and my uncle was the only survivor of an attack on his platoon. When they started getting shelled in the middle of the night everyone panicked and went crazy, my uncle was the only one to jump on the M60 and defended his position throughout the night. An article was written in the local newspaper of his bravery. But he lost his best friend, died right in front of him, and it gave him some serious PTSD. Even at 75yrs old he looks like a man you wouldn't want to fuck with and is in incredible shape even though he's as kind as can be. I remember when I was 10 or 11yrs old I asked my grandfather what the Nazi's were like and he said "they were just scared young men who wanted to go home just like we did". He was the greatest man I have ever known.
@Fletcher9876 I wasn't in vietnam, and I read the story about him 30yrs ago when my mother had a picture frame made with his medals and the article. My uncle doesn't talk about his tours, what I know about it is from his son who wasn't in the military and my mother who doesn't know the difference between a shotgun and a pistol. I don't care what makes sense to you and what doesn't, those men are actual hero's, not tough guys behind a keyboard, so show some respect. If you think I made up a story about my late grandfather and uncle, search Frank W. Carlson and I'm sure you'll find some info on his service. Also, gfys ya disrespectful tubby bitch
So I'll be the second person to ask: what good is a machine gun against artillery that is miles away. I'm not buying the story. This is the part where he refuses to reply...
The K31 is a fantastic rifle. Unique design, very accurate. and extremely high build quality. I have owned one for some time now and it shoots like a dream. I have never seen that type of scope and mount before. GP11 ammo was once plentiful and affordable, but it has gotten scarce and expensive. Let's hope more of it shows up stateside soon!
It's probably in the top 20 today considering its well established shortcomings. And maybe it was in the top 5 as far as military bolt actions. Buts it's certainly nowhere near the best bolt action rifle ever made or even mass produced. The Schmidt Reuben action is interesting but rather cumbersome in reality. To work the action fast you have to be strong and follow up shots won't be as accurate because of it. It's a very accurate rifle in competent hands because of its trigger . Which is without question the best ever used in a military rifle. It's difficult and almost impossible to find 7.5×55 ammo for it . And the ballistic performance is basically the same as .308 or military 7.62x54 . Which isn't worst performing but is far from the best or even considered to be one of the best as far as ballistic performance for a bolt action rifle. The k31 has never been combat tested . Rumors have claimed some were used by Finland against Russia but neither country's records prove it true or even mention it. The Schmidt Reuben action Which the k31 action is . Isn't as strong as or smoothly operated as a Mauser action even though the k31 is a straight pull action. There's a very good reason modern bolt action rifles are based on the Mauser action and not the Schmidt Reuben designed action. The k31 is a cool rifle and a accurate rifle but it's by no stretch of the experienced rifleman imagination the best bolt action rifle ever made. It's not even close proof is in the lineage of modern rifle design being the Mauser Action
Rubbish the Mauser 98 is still the best rifle ever made on its. Own combined with better calibres it’s incredible there is better modern. Rifles but probably has a 98 bolt action or modernised version
Assuming the projectile uses 180 grain 7.5x55mm swiss rounds, then that means that the approximate velocity of the bullet in american units is 342 Bald Eagles per second. Using the more imperial Bald Eagles Per cheeseburger (assuming the ideal medium rare, making it a conversion of 1 cheeseburger to 180 seconds on a normal grill), that makes this a whopping 1.9 bald eagles per cheeseburger!
God damn it, Gump! You're a god damn genius! This is the most outstanding answer I have ever heard. You must have a goddamn I.Q. of 160. You are goddamn gifted.
I love how the bolt action goes straight back then forward rather than back, down, up, then forward. Simplicity just seems evil sometimes and no one embraces it.
Its not simplicity, its a much more complicated style of bolt action, which is way its not that common. There are multiple straight pull bolt actions throughout history, and there are modern ones made today, but their complexity made them much more costly to manufacture compared to the regular bolt action.
Yeah but I shoot off my deck, which is 5 steps from my bedroom and it's legal Bet that doesn't happen in Switzerland Still very cool that the Swiss are very pro gun
The way the BDC cam is slaved to sliding ladder sight is really neat. I wanted to import some of these out of Switzerland but there were none available on their private market at the time. Damn shame too.
I think once you've built a straight-pull bolt, you're like 75% of the way to having a gas operated automatic action anyway, so I guess maybe gun makers at that point just think why not go all the way and make one of those instead?
People don’t realize how accurate these military rifles can be.Little known fact:the British .303 Enfield is a Great 1,000 yd. rifle. Per your handle, the M1A is my fav rifle.I competed with one in the late 90’s a S/A SuperMatch. The 600 yd target is a breeze if you know what you’re doing…..& that’s with peep sights,no optics.
Allegedly when Afghanistan started the British army was confused how the Taliban were laying pretty accurate fire on them from so far away until they kept capturing old Lee Enfields.
