REM Racers from Corvus Belli - What is it? How do you play it? And my opinion of the game 

It is such a shame as the games themselves are really good and just let down by a lack of clarity / mistranslation / poor rulebook design.

It is great as it is, it just needs a FAQ on some small points. But in such a simple game, it really shouldn't have needed them in the first place. Had a lot of fun playing and it is casual enough to fix the mistakes yourself or house rule once you know where those rough parts are.

I can try and answer some of the rules confusions, but I may be wrong. 1. Weapons can be fired in any direction, as it goes by range and there is nothing to say you cannot shoot behind you afaik. 2. I dont have the rules in front of me, but when I read the rules you would place the remote using the centre line of the vehicles hex (the left and right point of the hexagon) on the connection point of the tracks. 3. You can shoot across the track. There is no mention of LoS, so the game does not use it. 4. When they say outer wall, their meaning is the wall of the track and has nothing to do with the inside or outside line. So the same effect is had when you collide with any track edge. 5. Thats an interesting point about the scatter into the redirection spots. I would consider having them work the same as if you drove into them with intent. Thats how I would play. We all come from other games of theirs which are more complex, so I think you have to come at this like a boardgame. If something isnt even mentioned (ie. LoS) in the rules, there are no rules and you play it as written.

Thanks. TAG Raid was far cleaner, but not without its own errors. But because of past issues I don't think I will back any more Kickstarters from them. I say that, but my FOMO may have something to say about that 🤣

​@@ZombieSashimi I'm a lot more encouraged by the rules for Warcrow Adventures, the Dungeon Crawler game, that they've just released for free online. Very clear and well written rules that definitely have been proof read by a native English speaker.

Thats encouraging. But I always worry that the majority of mistakes are in the scenarios. But I have my fingers crossed for it, even though I didn't back it. @@DeepGreenX

The thing is I really have enjoyed their Kickstarter games. They are great, but let down by poor quality control on the rules / print on the cards. I have since backed the Apex Legends Boardgame from Glass Canon, and those guys have been really thorough and gotten the backers very involved in the process. I have done a fair bit of testing for them and they always have an ear for looking to improve their game and make the rules as clear as possible. I wish CB would do similar.
