Amusingly the Pre Event Leader would be lost on most non Brits. Its Eric Morecambe, an iconic British comedian. Not Heston Blumenthal or a leader. Nearly every British adult would recognise him. Hence the joke. The Event has fried everyone brains.
A few years ago, this was funny... The Event would have been an alien invasion by zombie-like creatures, who may have used nuclear weapons during the initial assault. Not Brexit, flu-monia or even Trump going doolally.
No, it's the end of the world when your "snowflake" of a president throws a twitter tantrum at 3am and decide he's had enough of people calling him a cheetoh, and so launches all the nukes.
peace with north korea seems on the table. no world war 3 over syria either. so sorry you were dead wrong though lol (ww3 might have happened with HRC's no fly zone in syria though as it could have caused our jets to fire on russian ones as some of our generals tried to point out to clueless globalists on both sides).
@@IntheeyesofMorbo Except the peace deal was based on Obama's plan, only altered by the President to have no deadline to denuclearise (the entire point of the peace deal), most of the talking was done by South Korea, Syria is still a dump, he's alienated all of his allies with pointless trade wars, is too cosy with a hostile superpower, even going so far as to congratulate him on winning his election (which was explicitly told not to), oh and the President just walked away with millions for himself in a tax cut that will see far more programs closed down or underfunded, the environment could soon be turning to crap due to pollution and his refusal to do anything about, and the jobs AREN'T returning (more mines have closed in the last two years than Obama's first four). Need I say more, or do you prefer the illusion of winning?
Remember simpler times when we just though the event was a nuclear holocaust, but a fun one, like in Fallout? Now it's clear what the event really is. Clue: it's been mentioned here already.
@@steerpike66 He was big from the 1950s on and was on TV through the 60s. Morecambe and Wise did some well known shows with the Beatles, early on in their heyday.
